Due to COVID, our experience with Luxe was stressful at times. Jackie was unresponsive and unhelpful from the start. I tried to be patient and understanding due to everything that was going on. However, it started adding a lot of unnecessary stress to the wedding planning process. She would respond to my emails/calls days or weeks later, sometimes not at all. Tiffany, our wedding planner was INCREDIBLE. She was so supportive, caring and helpful. She responded quickly, she seems passionate about what she does and seems to really care about the brides and grooms she works with. I felt lucky to be working with Tiffany.

My daughter's wedding was in February. All of the guests (103) stayed at the Royalton Riviera Cancun. We had the reception in a separate venue, but we did have a welcome cocktail at the resort. All of our guests had a fantastic time. However, this review has 5 stars exclusively because of the experience we had with our reservation / Travel Account Manager, Hayley Sabljak Horowitz. There are no words to describe the professional customer service Hayley offered us. We had 3 Account Managers in the course of one year of wedding planning. There were times when we felt we had chosen the wrong resort because of the lack of communication and follow-up. Then Hayley came to the rescue. From day one Hayley always responded to us almost immediately. Her kindness and willingness to answer our questions and concerns were REMARKABLE! This level of customer service was EXCEPTIONAL, not only for us but for all of our guests that reached out to her. We are indebted to Hayley for all of her help. Hayley is a STAR and Luxe Destination Weddings needs to commend her EXCELLENCE. She was instrumental in our decision to stay at Royalton.

I contacted Luxe to plan an elopement ceremony for my wife and I. I was paired with Christie and Tiffany - Christie to help with the logistics and Tiffany for the actual wedding planning. Both Christie and Tiffany were terrific. Their responses were prompt and detailed - fully answering every question I answered. I originally tried to do all of the planning myself, but communicating with the resorts are such a hassle. I am glad that I had Luxe to help me out. My only small criticism would be that they should be open on the weekend - even just having a skeleton crew on - for emergencies. There was a small emergency that was Air Canada's fault and as I was leaving on the weekend, Luxe was not open to help me out. Luckily I was able to get a hold of Christie who was more than willing to help out, and Air Canada was able to correct their mistake. Nonetheless, I will still give 5 stars because everything else was amazing.

We had a destination wedding booked with Luxe Destination Weddings in 2019. Covid stopped all travels and Luxe Destination Weddings said that they will offer full refunds. It's now nearing the end of 2021 and we are still unable to receive the refund. Do not book! Updated response: Thanks for replying, as I have called your office several times in the past, just to hear multiple employees voice-mail. I thought by writing a review of my experience, someone would see this. As a travel agency, it is your duty to communicate with the customers on their refund process and time frame. We have been told multiple times over email that we will receive the refund in 3 months, that was back in 2019. At this point in time, it is literally 2022. I still have not received a refund. I userstand you said you are a travel agency, but if a customer buys a faulty product from a store, that customer can go back to the store to rectify the issue. In this case, Luxe has been hands off on this issue, offering no help other than "Sorry, please wait another 3 months". You and Luxe are receiving a 1 star rating from me, not because the refund is out of your control, but because Luxe has failed to offer any help or timeline on this refund process from your tour operator that you are partnered with. At this point in time, please send me the tour operators information that you are partnered with.

We had a great experience using Luxe Destination Weddings to plan our wedding in the spring of 2022. Our travel coordinator and wedding planner were both very accommodating and gave us a great experience! We wanted someone who could take control of the planning and they did just that!

My husband and I recently got married at Planet Hollywood Cancun in Costa Mujeres, Mexico-April 2022 (34 people). The wedding day itself was amazing, and everything leading up to the big day was phenomenal and easy! Julie and Nevine were absolutely amazing at helping us plan everything. From helping us choose the best resort that worked within our budget, to prepping our wedding website and save the dates, to communicating with our guests about payment and flight information, everything was seamless! They were very professional, yet personal and made sure every detail was looked after before we left. I was a bit nervous about planning a wedding so far away, but these ladies made everything seem so easy that I never had to stress. I'm so thankful to them both and would HIGHLY recommend Luxe to any future wedding couples. <3

I used Luxe to book a trip for a destination wedding that was supposed to take pace in September 2020. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic the wedding was canceled. I contacted Luxe regarding my deposit and was consistently led on that eh wedding was simply being postponed and that my deposit could be used once a new date was set. I was then told that the hotel was not issuing refunds and so there was nothing that could be done (I even went to far as to contact the hotel directly and got no response from them either) . In my final attempt at getting my deposit back, the Luxe representative sent me a generic cancellation policy (no changes due to the ongoing worldwide pandemic) that basically offered for me to cancel my room at the cost of losing my deposit. So the answer to me trying to get my deposit back during these unprecedented times is to offer to cancel my reservation and lose my deposit. I'm really not sure why anyone would even consider that option as you have nothing to gain. While the hotel's unresponsiveness is also unprofessional., I really only dealt with Luxe during the booking process and therefore would expect more professionalism from their end when dealing with something like this. Offering next to no help and then blaming the hotel policies is not exactly the "stress free" planning advertised on their site.

We used Luxe for our destination wedding and I couldn't recommend them more! We had to move our wedding 3 times because of COVID and they stayed the course with us constantly adapting but staying committed to making my wedding what I had wanted from the beginning. I am so grateful for our wedding planner Tiffany who was so organized - she not only kept me calm and steered me where I needed to go but she also had me fully prepared for what to expect. And the resort was incredible and well prepared because they had ALL of the information that Tiffany had put together for our special day. Our travel specialist Hayley was also a champ and had to deal with 41 people, multiple room changes and family changes because of the 3 different years of attempting to go. For anyone having a destination wedding I wouldn't use anyone else but Luxe! Thanks guys!
