I found Obi on Kijiji (my first mistake) for a full supply and install of level 4 drywall of a 2000 sq.ft property. Material supply and drywall installation took one week and happened on schedule. After that it completely fell apart. He abandoned my project for the next 10 days with no notice. I assume his commercial work takes priority and these side projects get completed when he can find the time. You will quickly discover that your schedule is irrelevant. After finally returning my missed calls, he sent in 2 subcontracted mud/tapers who were genuine hacks. They butchered the work and left more drywall compound on the floor than on the walls. I ended up spending hours scraping the dried compound off the subfloor prior to floor installation. The quality of the work was generally poor and inconsistent at best. There was missing tape on some joints, totally crooked corners and joints that were completely out of square. Some outlets were just completely drywalled over and I was forced to repair at least a dozen pot lights rough-ins that were cut out so wide, the pot light trim couldn't cover the entire hole. The worst is my main floor ceiling has hairline cracks along every joint. I can literally see the outline of every drywall sheet because the cracks are all spaced 8' x 4'. I'd call the drywall finish level 3 and a half because it's 3 in some areas, 4 in others. Avoid my mistake and look for reputable contractors on Homestars. Response: Apparently my negative review is fake while the 3 glowing reviews from your family members (same last names) are real LOL. Anyway I uploaded the "contract" for proof. I swear honesty and your word being your bond is gone these days. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
