LUX NAIL | BEAUTY BAR

Very clean and professional place! Hannah did a great job (I took this pic two weeks later). However, it was pretty pricey. I paid $73.45+tip for acrylics.

Went for my first time to Lux and had the lux shellac manicure with Lisa. Everyone there was very friendly, the place was very clean and all covid restrictions in place. Lisa was awesome. She did a great job on my nails and helped with colour choices. I can't wait to return with my little girl for mommy-daughter mani's.

DONT GO To THIS SALON !! I went today to do my nails ( regular manicure) And you can tell the result from the pictures !!! It took the lady less than 5 mins to clean my nails !! She did NOTHING! I payed 26$ for NOTHING!

LET ME TELL YOU!! these ladies know what they're doing!! They are TRAINED PROFESSIONALS AND THEY'RE KILLING IT!!!!!! got my nails done 2 weeks ago and they're still looking BOMB! Will definitely be coming back here and telling all of my friends ?

Wish I could leave better reviews but the Kevin was not professional in anyway. When I asked questions about nails cause I don’t usually do them. Treated me with contempt. When I then asked for gel nails he said he didn’t want to, like how rude. Ended up rushing my nails, thankfully I didn’t get any scratches from the rough buffing. Rushed the nails and very impatient. The other nail techs and the lady at the front seemed nice. But I won’t be coming back, especially if Kevin would be the one doing my nails. It has a nice interior though!!

PROS: Beautiful nail salon. Friendly service. Love the throne looking chairs. Went together with a small group of friends and we got the Lux Pedicure. It was our first time having a bath bomb pedicure and a foot mask. Smelled so great. CONS: A friend of mine had a bad allergic reaction to the synthetic materials used. She had hives for days after this pedicure that burned and were so itchy even after meds. So beware if you have sensitive skin. It would have been nice to have been offered a natural scent free option for her.

My review is solely on the person that did my nails. I'm coming from the US to get my nails done and found this place. It was recommended by my sister in law. The place was easy to find and clean so I would give the actual business a 4/5. I also been here one time before and had a wonderful experience with another technician. My technician for this service, I think her name is Abby had poor service however. She cut my finger and it was pretty deep so despite my "ouches", she did cut above the cuticle onto my actual skin and it bled A LOT! (see photo). She then started prepping alcohol to put on my open wound which is fine but that stuff stings so I wanted to do it myself. After telling her that I'll do it myself cuz it stings, she tells me something like "oh, alcohol doesn't usually sting, that's acetone".... which was a weird comment but maybe she's never experienced putting sanitizer on little cuts on our hands before, I dunno. Anyway, now I know people have bad days but I don't recommend projecting that on your customers. The technician hardly talked. No good mornings. I showed her what I want with photos. She wasn't very good with directions or hearing but I explained to her what I want and how a few times. I did change a detail on one finger and explained it to her but her demeanor wasn't so welcoming and sounded more annoyed. I still tipped her because it's Christmas but maybe she should be told to just have better customer service. Her work is decent, I would rate 2/5 (got some scratches & bubbles on a couple nails).

I went here for the first time with the vision of holographic ombré birthday nails. Hannah was so sweet and tried multiple different ways to find the look I had in mind, and then fully started over once I had decided on my preference. She even offered to start an entirely new design if her work did not match my vision. I’ve never met a nail tech who was so patient and dedicated to customer satisfaction. I was thoroughly impressed with her service and I absolutely love my nails :) I will say it was a bit more expensive than I had thought it would be. Although I would have appreciated more transparency in terms of pricing, I also knew I wanted them either way so I didn’t ask questions. Regardless, it was a great experience and I would definitely go back!
