About LUX & CO.
Formerly known as Studio Medica, which opened its doors back in November 2015 in a small, rented room inside Adam & Eve Personal Spa (now Meraki Beauty) on Leila Avenue and Pipeline Road; LUX & CO. is an established and fully licensed beauty hub located in the heart of The Maples & Garden City area in Winnipeg. We officially opened our doors at 1275 Jefferson Avenue, on February 7th, 2017 and was happily welcomed by this amazing community.
And in early 2019, we joyously teamed up with Main Focus to offer our clients massage therapy (and yes, they also offer direct billing to several health insurance providers).
Clean, bright, and cozy, our goal is to make our clients feel welcome and at home in our laid back beauty environment. Here at LUX, we strive to do an exceptional job while providing you with a friendly, familiar, family-feel and low-pressure experience during your treatment. We are proud to say that most of our repeat clients have been referred to us by word-of-mouth and we will forever take great pride and joy in knowing that.
Our spa may only be 800 square feet, but our amazing and talented staff members far exceed the depth of these walls when we come together as a team to do what we do best—to allow our clients to feel comfortable and right at home when they are in our care. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

First off this is an amazing local business! The shop itself is clean, and taking COVID-19 measures seriously! I felt comfortable and safe while getting my eyebrows done.
Secondly, the treatment I received was called "powder brow", and they look unreal. They are healing perfectly, and people cannot stop complementing me!
I would totally recommend Lux & Co!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re thinking about becoming a lash extension artist and searching for courses, I definitely recommend taking Anna’s classic lash course! Anna is so patient and encouraging when you’re doing the one on one course with her! I barely could put on any lashes the first day, but she was so patient with me. Every time I struggled with a certain thing, I would message her and she would give me tips on what to do so I can improve! I do not regret taking this course since I have learned a lot of great things from her! She truly is the best!

Listened to everything I wanted and checked in numerous times to ensure I was always happy with the shape! Ann runs a clean salon and I really enjoyed my experience! Can’t wait for my touch up!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The girl seemed nice enough but unfortunately due to a computer glitch, I was not able to get my brows done. Birthday gift to myself and my appt that I booked online did not show up on her end. The little time I had for myself wasted. And an appt offered for 3 hours after the time I booked for. I am so disappointed and I literally drove to the other side of the city for this too.
