★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Undeniably the best place to go in Montreal for microblading. Akemi is a cut above the rest on so many levels. She knows her stuff; from industry norms, skill, and the ingredients in the products she uses. She can tell you about them because she knows it. She knows what is happening in Europe and here in Montreal. Most importantly, she knows what not to use with regards to chemicals that have been withdrawn from the market etc. I felt confident in leaving my face in her hands. She does many corrections of blotched jobs by others because there are few technicians with her level of expertise. I would not go anywhere else. Last, but not least, she listens to her clients and you know she cares. Not just by her words but by her actions. She is absolutely worth her weight in gold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are considering microblading you have to go see Akemi!!!! I was super hesitant about taking the plunge and booking the procedure but I put in a lot of research to find the best in the city and I definitely did find the best! I basically had no eyebrows going in and it was really starting to negatively affect the way I saw myself. I was constantly hiding behind bangs/hats or trying to draw two symmetrical eyebrows on my face which was often a fail. Since the procedure I have never been more in love with my face, I know it sounds ridiculous because it's such a small feature but it boosted my confidence way up. Do not waste your time or risk disappointment by going anywhere else!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I waited for my second visit with akemi to write this review. I wanted to see the end result. So it is about 2 weeks after my second visit and my eyebrows are perfect.
To say that Akemi is dedicated is saying too little. After 2 appointments of about 3 hours each i reached the conclusion that the shape and look of my eyebrows were more important to her than to me. She is a perfectionist. Everything had to line up. The colour had to be perfect. The strokes had to be perfect.
When the micro loading technique did not work as she intended, she switched to shadowing.
Not only is Akemi a true professional, but she is also fun to spend 3 hours with.
I can not recommend her highly enough.

Akemi will listen to what you want and communicate to you perfectly about the process in either English or French. Above 5 stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Akemi is a face saver. I went to see her for an emergency microblading removal 24hrs after a botched job and she truly made it disappear with very little discomfort. Worth every dollar spent. When I get them redone I know where to go. Don't go anywhere else in Montreal for your microblading. She truly is the best!!!

If you think you can get this done anywhere else in Montréal other than by Akemi, then sadly you are not doing your research properly. It’s your face and the results will be there for all to see for one year or even longer. She will answer all of your questions prior to your appointment, & take the time necessary to do top notch work.
