Lucky Paws is a great, local pet store offering high quality pet food and, excellent service. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. If they don't have a product you want, they will order it. Their love of pets is obvious. Of course, there is always a treat or two for my dog when he visits.

When we got a new puppy in June we decided that we would support a local small business. I went in and asked for recommendation on puppy food. The lady explained the options but stuck to the lower priced foods because she said that mommy needs to eat (I had two small children with me). I never at any time was concerned about price I just wanted the best food I could get for my puppy. When I went to my first vet appointment with the puppy the vet asked about food, I told her what we were using and she told me to research the food and confirm it had certain ingredients. After researching I found that the food I was sold didn't have most of the ingredients the vet requested. I then went back to the store and purchased a food (one of the expensive ones I was never shown previously) that I had researched online. I know that I could have returned the other food but I no longer had the package and decided to just use the food as treats. I continued to purchase food, toys, and a metal exercise run. I recently went in and purchased a bag of food and four toys, which came to close to $200. After three minutes of supervised play with one toy ($25 toy) claiming to be tough my puppy put a hole in the toy. I returned the next day with my receipt and packaging and explained what had happened. After a long wait at the counter for someone to come and help me the employee explained that they don't guarantee toys. I explained how much I had purchased and she said she didn't have the authorization and would take my information down and have the owner contact me. I did receive a call back but it was not from the owner it was from the same employee that didn't have the authorization to deal with my concern. I am disappointed that the owner could not make the time to even listen to my concerns and take into consideration how much I have spent over the last seven months with her company. My family owns a local business and sometimes you have to look at the big picture before brushing off an unhappy customer. I unfortunately am now forced to take my business of at least $100 a month somewhere else. So much for supporting local.

Excellent service from the staff and furry friends can come in

The owner at Lucky Paws Pet Supply is a smart businesswoman with a very keen understanding of customer service. She and all her staff are keen pet owners themselves and take the time to know their products. The washing station at the Crossroads store is excellent and a big asset to the community. I highly recommend.

The staff are knowledgable and seem very friendly. I bought the brush the lady recommended for my dog and within two weeks the bristles started to sink. Upon return, we seemed to agree that the brush was faulty, however, she would not exchange it. I understand why returns and exchanges are tricky during a pandemic, but I was hoping that this small business would stand behind their products rather than telling me to contact the company. Unfortunately, a potential loyal customer might be lost.

This place carries an amazing selection of raw food and of course regular kibble as well. The staff are always Super friendly and helpful and the owner is very knowledgeable and seems very dedicated to providing safe, quality products.

Staff super helpful. Our doggie loves going there as the staff are so loving and always willing to give treats!!!! Great selection of locally Canadian sourced dog food. Love it!!!
