c	chantal kruk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I had an amazing time at the Loyalist Lofts! Brian was very kind and the place was very beautiful and clean. It had everywhere we needed and even some DVDs in the living room. Very beautiful! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The owner is very nice and can give you a lot of information about the best places in town and around. On the cons side, the bathroom door didn't lock in our apartment and the humidifier was pretty loud over the night. It's an old house so there's a lot of noises (floor, doors, appliances etc.) If you can live with that, it's a very decent place.

G	Gheorghe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Close to the city center and all restaurants. Unfortunately, most of restaurants are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. BBQ available at the next door unit. Provided pass for Provincial Parks and pamphlets on attractions. Host very knowledgeable on tourist attractions, but info provided verbally by host was difficult to follow if not familiar with the region. There is a veranda where you can eat.. Negative: The apartment is in an old building. Washroom is located upstairs. Few windows for natural light or fresh air. Information for picking up the unit keys were sent by email late so we did not receive it, because we were on the road. Last message texted before leaving was a little bit upsetting as it was asking to "leave the suite clean and tidy as you found it". We normally clean dishes and get the garbage out, but not actually clean the suite. The dish towels were clean but worn out of too much use, the strainer was broken, one plate had some wax spots on it showing not too much care in tidying the kitchen before we have arrived..

It is perfectly situated in the heart of Picton with coffee shops, restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. When paying $250 per night, you have certain expectations. The bedsheets, comforters and towels looked like they were also centuries old and therefore, did not look clean to me. This owner should consider a small investment in crisp, white sheets, quilts in pleasing solid colors that could double as a blanket, new white bath towels and new pillows. Then the expectation that the beds are clean is met and all can sleep happily ever after.

The beds were very comfortable and it was very clean. It was fairly quiet, we felt safe. The host was helpful and friendly. It is next to shops and restaurants, no need to drive.. Negative: It was great. One tiny thing, the owner could buy a box so we could Chrome cast from Netflix to the TV..

The place was cute, clean and spacious enough for the two of us! Brian was awesome. He was able to recommend places to visit which was very helpful. Definitely a place to stay and I highly recommend it!!!
