★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where I am west of Toronto Lowes has a reasonably good store BUT the Canadian management team creates serious problems for their stores. Failures from management are IMO why the Lowes where I am is almost empty when their competitor Home Depot is usually full of customers. Before I go to these stores I often check online for product information and availability. Home Depot searches are productive and accurate in that the product information, price, availability down to the number in stock, and even aisle are clearly displayed. Most Lowes searches that I do are a waste of time with often useless results. I am not going to my local Lowes to see if they have what I want when I know that Home Depot or even Canadian Tire have what I need.
