Went into the store to go see about returning a guitar that was originally bought at Long and McQuade less than 6 months ago. When inquiring about how the return would work (1) either getting our debt paid off completely and to then get reimbursed for the remaining balance of what they would take the guitar back for, or (2) stay on our payment plan and get reimbursed for the price they would take the guitar back for, we were RUDELY told “ what do you mean, we aren’t a bank” and had a second member of their staff unnecessarily come over to reiterate that that they aren’t a bank. Never once did we insinuate this, and never once did we think that paying our business back to Long and McQuade would warrant such an ignorant encounter. We will never go back and nor should anyone with any level of customer services expectations.

Replies really fast and gave me every detail of every question I had. Without a doubt I'll be purchasing my instruments through the kamloops location.

Sam was so incredibly kind and helpful, his positive attitude and just overall exceptional customer service made my day. The store manager was also so friendly and accommodating to my needs. Super excited to surprise my husband with his gift. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was investigating an electric guitar for my husband, who had expressed interest, but I didn't want to break the bank in case it turned out to be a passing fancy. I was introduced to a complete kit with everything he would need to get started which turned out to be much less $$ than I anticipated. The gentleman that assisted me was helpful, knowledgeable and also helped with a beginner guitar lesson book. Not only did my husband love it, but he spent time on Google watching video reviews which mostly rave about the high quality for the price.
