★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall an extremely dissatisfying experience, trying to enter the establishment you are blocked by big intimidating smokers who can’t simply just smoke on the sidewalk they feel the need to block the doorway for some desperate attempt at holding any power, not to mention me and my good friend (both 19) were berated by customers and staff. We were slandered and basically prosecuted without trial. James rice is a slanderous joke of a barhop. We thought we were avoiding the trucker craziness of Canada but it looks like all of them gather here. Not a mask in sight Not even from staff overall sucks we couldn’t enjoy the experience but ya can’t gatekeep alcohol and discriminate against customers. We wish this place can clean up their act in the future then it might peak at 3 star review. Sad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to have a beer around 4pm on sunday and we had to ask the barman to bring us a menu, he was just not offering to serve us at the table, but he did when we asked. Anyway, we felt like we were not really welcomed. We heard customers behind us saying “frogs” out loud a few times and we didn’t understand why, we are respectful and we spoke english with the staff. We don’t ask to be serve in french, we are happy to speak english whenever we have an opportunity, we just don’t want to be insulted or unwelcome because of our first language.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice British-style pub located in the dead center of Crescent St. Will certainly get busy on weekends but not quite as much as the bars on the south side. Only 1 craft beer on tap unfortunately, rest are big box brews but I know a lot of people aren't bothered by that.
