"DO NOT PURCHASE OR RENT" Do not purchase or rent these condos FROM the builder. Westcorp Inc is an unethical company who does not protect or care about you as the buyer.

My friend's lease application was denied by Westcorp office. The manager told them: "New immigrants can Not rent from our company." “New immigrants can Not rent a place like this."

Westcorp has sold many of its rental units to Mainstreet. I already see things improving.

London appears on the surface to be a nice building with a near central location and easy access to the train system. Unfortunately, this is the only thing this building has going on for them. In the current review, you will find out why despite superficially being a nice place that you will soon hate your new purchase. Electrical: While I cannot comment about all suites, I can comment about the quality of workmanship that I experienced in my own suite. The electrical system in my suite was a major issue with all of the kitchen appliances sharing a single fuse on the breaker. This meant that if you used your toaster and coffee maker at the same time, this would cause the breaker to reset until you flipped the breaker. While this doesn't sound like a huge issue, you will find yourself rooting through your closet to flip the breaker every morning. While I'm not an electrician, I have heard from other sources that this is not up to standard building code. Additionally, all of the bottom sockets in the kitchen stopped functioning secondary to faulty wiring. Parking: This was a major issue during my stay at this tower for a number of reasons. The first was just the simple lack of effort when it came to appropriate parking distribution. If you have two cars in your house-hold like many do, then you will run into issues. Westcorp would not provide additional parking passes to households of more than one driver which will leave you to find a tenant who does not drive and have to rent their space from them. This is not for lack of space as they have a huge parkade which is never full. In fact, there are large segments of the parkade where I have yet to see a single car. If you are unable to find a parking pass to rent from someone else, then you will be relegated to the dirt parking alot across the street which would be totally fine if the city did not ticket you on a near daily basis for parking there. Damage to vehicles: During the building of the parkade, there was many months where their construction company would be diligently working to finish the job. Unfortunately during this process, concrete drops were spilled onto my brand new car hood. When I approached Westcorp about the issue, I was told that I could not prove these drops were received while in the building and not some place else. I was extremely disappointed in the management in their lack of interest in helping someone who lives under their care. Theft: Theft is an issue in this building. Despite having cameras, security guards and RFID secured rooms, I lost close to $3,000 in bicycles after they were removed from the RFID secured bike room. Due diligence on my part was done with heavy duty bike locks. The building management were unable to assist in this issue aside from offering their condolences. Renter vs Owner: If you are renting from a private owner, the building management will not speak with you regardless of the issue. You will have to go through your owner to make any sort of compliant is not directly related to your landlord. Summary: All in all, I would summarize my time at the London towers as disappointing. I really looked forward to living in this building before moving in. Unfortunately, the stay was marred by rigid management who were disinterested in helping the people who live in their building. This is just my opinion but this contradicts their purpose which I feel should be to build, maintain a healthy community by HELPING rather than hand-cuffing their tenants. I would not recommend this building to others because of shotty workmanship and rigid management.

This is a great place & location to live in but the prices are still very high compared with other places in town, of course the conditions are great as well. There is a Security Desk & secure entrance, also cameras everywhere, 3 residents parking floors & 1 for visitors - the issue here is that no matter how long a visitor stays, he/she has to register at the security desk. Also one another thing I think is great, the commodities bills aren't that high as within other places, all counters are inside the apartments - water, gas, energy.

I am an original owner at London (since 2006) and have always found the staff at Westcorp professional, organized and available for anything you need. The gal currently at the security desk is helpful and welcoming, and Karol in this office answers inquiries promptly and fully. This is a well managed building in a great location!
