“You won't find a better mechanic shop than this, and they take care of almost anything to do with your vehicle :) I've been to many many different mechanic shops and I always get treated the best here. I always deal with Gary who is one of two owners and he goes out of his way to make sure I am happy with the work including adjusting pricing accordingly. Always super honest and will give you the full details about any situation. If I am in Edmonton I will only take my vehicle here from now on!"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needed a good diesel mechanic 5 years ago and since then my father and I have been going there for both gas and diesel vehicles and the work is alway immaculate. They’ve never failed us and they’ve always made sure our vehicles are running in top shape when leaving the shop! Their turn around time is second to none and we’ve never once had any issue in dealing with them. When you come in you’ll generally be greeted by an amazing lady by the name of Lisa who is always on the ball and smiling at you! We’ve been to many mechanic shops and Lomax is by far the best we’ve had the pleasure of dealing with and will continue to deal with! Cheers from Phil and Conor!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gary and Terry will take very good care of your truck. We took some fleet vehicles to them, and they not only competed the repairs, they performed oil changes too. They even got the windshields replaced, and the trucks got detailed inside and out. I can't believe the value we get for our money here! The service is top notch and the owners are involved with every vehicle that passes through their door. I'm beyond impressed! I'm taking my personal vehicles here from now on too

The staff are always extremely polite and accommodating. This past time was especially great as they were very busy with this cold weather yet still found the time to get my car in, repaired and back to me on time (they always drop off my car for me). They are truly the best.

Had warranty issues with my dealership where I bought my 3500 Dodge. I was told that I needed $8500 worth of repairs to my truck that would not be covered Under warranty due to the fact I didn’t follow their Recommended maintenance schedule exactly. Thankfully I’m fairly mechanically inclined and challenged their diagnosis. I researched the 3 top diesel mechanic shops in Edmonton and Lomax was at the top of the list. I contacted Gary and brought my vehicle to them for a second opinion. I paid a small fee to have my truck fully inspected and tested, and NOT to my surprise my truck DID NOT need all the repairs the dealership had quoted!! The repair bill at Lomax came to just over $2200!!! Compared to $8500 that’s a huge difference!!! Thanks to Gary and the Lomax team they saved me over $6300 in unnecessary repairs!!! FYI, I have challenged the dealership with these results and they are attempting to fix the situation... Thanks again to Lomax, you now have a new customer and I will be recommending your services to everyone that needs a great honest mechanic shop!!
