About Little Learners Preschool
Hello! My name is Kay Gimenez and I am the owner and director of Little Learners Preschool. It has been my privilege over the last 20+ years to help families from all over SE Calgary start their children off on their journey to Social and Academic Success!
I am the Mother of two wonderfully talented boys. One of which is a Teacher himself and the other an Engineer and father of my 2 amazing grandchildren.
My love for children, combined with my interest in Early Childhood Development, prompted me to pursue my Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Mount Royal University in 1995.
In my classroom I promote “Learning Through Play”
I love to encourage children to explore – to find creative answers – to think outside the box.
There is no better Joy than the look on a child’s face when they have mastered a skill they have been working so hard to achieve!
I am so lucky to come everyday to a place that I Love and do what I Love to do.
I don’t even call it “Work” But Where Dreams Happen!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a GREAT preschool, look no further!! We had 2 kids attend Little Learners Preschool and it was a great experience for them. Both were very shy and we worried. Ms.Kay and all the staff were SO great with them. Within a couple days, they couldn't wait for school each day. To me, that shows alot. You can see that teaching these little ones is her passion and she cares about each deeply.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My little guy just started a couple of weeks ago and was super excited to be going to 'school'. On his 3rd day he was shy and reluctant to go in, the teachers aid put both hands on his coat and forcefully pulled him inside while he resisted and pulled away from her. My husband had to tell her this was completely unacceptable. We have removed him since this incident, I am shocked and upset and apalled.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little Learners is a fantastic preschool. Ms Kay loves what she does and it shows. From fun theme days to learning new skills, this is an amazing school ! Access is easy, parking is available and there are different times of classes to meet parents schedules. Little Learners prepares children for further school in a kind, fun and educational way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our oldest child is in his third year at Little Learners and we also currently have our second child enrolled - from the very beginning Ms Kay has been incredibly warm, friendly and her experience speakers for itself. We will definitely get our third child enrolled as soon as she's ready...Little Learners is Calgary's best preschool!

At the end of the year, Ms. Kay hands off a priceless memory book with beautiful picture that she takes throughout the year. I will recommend this preschool hands down to anyone.
