★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to share my exceptional experience with Lipman Carpet. I purchased an exquisite rug from them and had it shipped to Toronto. The transport company had completely damaged the rug, and refused to pay for the rug as I signed the packing slip prior to inspecting it. Denis at Lipman, was kind enough to refund my money in full! He has been wonderful to work with. I can't praise this company enough, the customer service, and the quality products they offer. I highly recommend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked into the showroom, most of items have no prices displayed. You will be given a price based on your appearance and project. The salesman is very snobby and makes assumptions about his clients. The lack of price tags and pushy salesman are honestly really sleazy. Won’t recommend unless you want to overcharged.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shady business with 0 customer service. I bought 7 boxes of unopened carpet tile and returned 3 weeks later and requested a refund. Denis the salesman rudely declined a refund, store credit and even an exchange ! The store has no product return policy displayed, invoice doesn’t have any terms and conditions printed either. 1st merchant I dealt with who refuses to offer at least a store credit. I repeat, UNOPENED plain carpet tile boxes ! Dennis tries to make you feel dumb for not knowing about their non existing return policy!!! How do you expect your customers to know you have a 0 return policy if it’s not displayed?!?
It’s a pity your treat customers like that… I’ll make sure to tell everybody to stay away from Lipman.
Lesson learned, I tried supporting the local economy, but I’ll stick with major retailers who care about their clients ans have transparent return/exchange policies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I shopped around for flooring at almost every single store in Montreal and Denis from Tapis Lipman was able to provide me with the best quality flooring at the most affordable price. The customer service was beyond exceptional!! Highly recommend this place as their products and services are 10/10! Will definitely be going back to see Denis for other projects.
