S	Sandra Porter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by the lab about a half hour before closing on a Saturday to see if that was a good time for a blood sample. They were great. My technician was Christine who was very pleasant and brightened my day with her gentle nature and nice personality.

However, they forgot to test for one of the levels on my requisition, so I had to call my doctor to check if it was there to begin with, then the lab's number. Ended up having to go back in to my regular lab for a recall. A whole lot of hassle over an easily avoided mistake, but two stars for efficiency of the process and the demeanour of the staff.
D	D Marcellus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very few of the staff are friendly but sadly it's the only place in PK to go for blood work so we are all kind of stuck. I used the new app to checkin today and it didn't say you need to tell them when you arrive and their wait list screen says if you're in blue then you're considered arrived. I waited in line to see if I needed to check in, only to be ignored for 5min. You apparently still need to check in at the desk. So when they called the lady after me I got up and asked about this and the lady argued with me that the app does tell me that I have to check in with them and I said it didn't and showed her and she still argued with me and got even ruder. This kind of treatment isn't something new as I've never heard her be nice to anyone. To the few nice ladies there...thank you for being nice! You others...find a new job.

M	Mike Paterson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Parksville " Save my spot " system seems to ignore what actually is happening. I saved my spot this week, logging on at 7:40am. The system told me there was a 40 mins wait so I turned up at 8:20am . I then had to wait for 80, yes 80, minutes to get seen. I asked if they were busier than normal but she replied it was always like this. I appreciate these times are estimates but to be so, so wrong is unacceptable. Just to qualify the experience, this my third time to have had this happen. Surely the computer system can do better. The staff were fine but appeared overworked.
N	Natalie Zavaglia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really quite slow unfortunately. Our poor medical system is so overwhelmed. Parksville doesn't have enough doctors. The staff here are so nice. They do the best they can. Make sure you make an appointment for the Lifelabs blood requisitions. They have an x-ray lab. Many public washrooms to use, and sanitizer all over the place which is excellent. It's bright, seems clean.

Only to find out , yes they have it. 2. You have to fast 10 hrs , How am I supposed to know this if you don’t call me Ans: we don’t call You are paid by our medical services. Good thing I am not dying
