This receptionist is very uneducated,rude It's really hard to believe this is a clinic in Canada Too bad she didn't get zero

I have seen Dr. Leung, Dr. Fong and Dr. Kao as a child. All of the doctors are decent. The big problem that this clinic has is their awful receptionists! Terrible on the phone, short, rude and most unwelcoming.

Dr. Kao is always considerate towards his patients (i.e., our Son) and their parents (i.e., myself and my wife). It can take a little extra time, on the telephone with the front desk, to make an appointment but the staff are always polite. Parking in the strip mall is challenging, but free for customers/patients

I'd give a lower rating if I could. This rating is specifically for their rude receptionists that don't do their job. I've had issues with getting them to change my contact number for the last 4 appointments I've made with them (in 2 years time) they keep on calling my parents home number to tell them my blood test results over the phone. This is firstly a huge privacy concern as I am WAY over 18 years old and secondly what if my parents had changed their numbers as well. I have simply asked for my main phone number to be changed and have been told it's done but it clearly hasn't. Secondly my newest issue with their receptionist is trying to book an appointment with one of their doctors. I called at 12:20 today and yes its lunch time, I know. The receptionist picked up and said "doctors office" and nothing else. So I proceeded to ask if I could book an appointment next week to see a doctor. The receptionist said "it is our lunch right now can you please call back after 1pm". Honestly that is horrible service. Why would you pick up in the first place if you weren't planning on doing something as simple as booking an appointment. I'd like to clarify that this review does not reflect on the doctors as I've had both Dr. Fong and Dr. Leung as my family doctors. They are both knowledgeable and they do their best to help you in your need. However your choices in receptionists are in dire need for a strict review for patient privacy and common etiquette in customer service.

Dr Leung has been my doctor since I was a child. He’s the most kind and caring doctor. He answers all my questions. He’s very accomplished not only in clinical practice but is the author for numerous articles and books. He has contributed so much to the field of medicine and I’m so happy he is my doctor. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Leung. He is the best!

The worst clinic that I’ve never visited before. I wish I could rate a zero. Receptionists are very rude. When we entered the office, we hold two kids standing in front them behind the waiting line for about 8 minutes, and there were 4 of them walking around or doing their things, pretending not seeing us. No words, no eye contacts. When I tried to say “Hello, excuse me?” Finally a lady look at at me with an annoying face and said someone will call your name. Didn’t even ask whom we were seeing today! And also, a very low rate gives to Dr.Leung, whom we heard is the best pediatric doctor in Calgary, very disappointed after meeting him today. He was very impatient and annoyed, kept cutting us off when we just said a few words for our questions. He brought a very thick book and told us this is the book he wrote and it’s not for us to read, it’s professional and it’s for all the pediatricians. But I think the purpose for him to do so, is to show us how good he is and what he just said was absolutely right and cannot be questioned, even if it’s just for more clarifications. He spoke extremely loud and fast, which scared both of my kids. My son kept looking at me without talking and my daughter started to cry when she felt the tension. But Dr. Leung unbelievably sighed quite a few time when my daughter cried and had his hand holding his forehead to show us how annoying that cry was. He is absolutely impatient to kids. Can’t believe he is a pediatrician! With no patience with kids at all. It was a horrible experience and please be prepared for the awful service when you get there.
