You might get lucky and find a portable toilet 3km into the path. In the winter, it gets colder the further out as you have Lake Ontario on both sides of the path. In the summer there is no shade and it gets really hot. People tend to go fishing at some parts of the path that are close to the water.

L	Leonard E on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The City of Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation department offers garden plots (approximately 10x12 feet each) for customers interested in planting vegetables or flowers. These plots are available at various locations across the city; 11 outdoor sites and 1 indoor. An allotment garden permit of which the 2021 Garden Allotment rate is $97.41 (HST included cannot be transferred, willed or inherited). Good to know because you can't bury yourself/others under a bed of roses! There is an application & renewal process, as well as a waitlist which opens on the 1st business day each February; first come, first serve basis for outdoor plots. What a great idea for the City to generate local park space beautification! City (apartment?) dwellers who likely don't have a backyard also get a chance to have a garden rental!
J	Jeffrey K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great preservation area right next to the city. We saw all sorts of wildlife and birds. The interpretation centre is quite small but the employees are very friendly and passionate. I would suggest you come on bike and a lunch because the area is vast and there are very few amenities. We really enjoyed it. Must see.
