★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with Lesley has changed life in so many ways. When I was not well, family sought out Lesley and I immediately was under her treatment. Her passion for what she does, her knowledge, utilizing traditional and non traditional practices, treating me as a whole rather than a disease or disorder was instrumental in my continued growth and improved mental health.
My recovery has been long but had I not been under her care I don’t even want to consider what condition I would be in. Also be prepared to work and be held accountable for your recovery. She is an amazing therapist and has been a huge influence in my healing. I had a good psychiatrist for a short term, but psychotherapy is so important, pharmacology has a place, but only works on a chemical level, one needs to learn skills and have the ability to talk things over to truly understand and work on healing and strengthens ones state of mental health. I think it’s important that I share my experience so that perhaps someone who is in need you will find an experienced professional in Lesley who’s focus is on her patients wellbeing and betterment. Depression is a real thing, anxiety is a real thing. And things we might not think of as traumas, do impact us on a level we are not self aware of. Mental health is so important to our overhaul health and in my opinion has that most influence on our general health. Be well everyone, be kind to yourself, and when you need assistance with your mental health, Lesley is an exceptional practitioner that has been life saving/changing.
