The contractor in the company vehicle nearly caused a serious accident by driving extremely unsafely, all while clearly talking on their handheld cellphone in busy traffic. If this is the dangerous behaviour you want from a business, go ahead and hire them.

a roof specialist 'Jean -Paul ' came to inspect our roof, and he was so informative and respectful . He answered all my questions, a man with many years of experience and was very detailed and thorough in his inspection and explanation to me. I will definitely recommend him to my other administrators and friends . Thank you very much Jean-Paul for an excellent job .

I met Karl for an estimate on redoing my roof. He was really professional, took the time to explain everything. So i sign up with Duro-Toit. The did the work, they were really professional, did a clean job, offered some add on, the upside of them and the down side of each options. Really enjoy working with them, communication was easy, good job, Highly recommend!

The worker did a professional job and I was very pleased...the 4 stars are because customer service wasn't the greatest...the roof work was scheduled to be done first week of October 2020...but every week there was an excuse and they kept saying next week next week and that lasted till December.. obviously I know they have no control over the weather but at one point we hadn't had bad weather or rain for 3 weeks in a row.... finally the work was done in May 2021...

We knew we were dealing with trustworthy professionals when Yannick G. Came to our home to give us an estimate. We where aware of the issues we had on our roof (wholes due to old antennas) and in our attic (poor ventilation, condensation) but chose not to mention anything to Yannick. After he completed his inspection he gave us every single detail on every issue we had which to us meant that we had found the right contractor. The team of installers that came thereafter were equally thorough and friendly and shared provided real time info and pictures of other issues they found, this meant a more expensive job but also a job done right.

I used Duro-Toit to replace my roof a few years ago. Great quality service. The crew was very professional. What has me even more impressed, is the quality of their subsequent service. I had to call them for a minor repair after a few years, a shingle on the side of the house came loose. I called and received a prompt answer. They came quickly, did the repair, no question asked. Highly recommend this company.

We had our roof replaced in Oct. 2021 and we decided to go with DURO-TOIT because the representative we met with assured us that they were the most knowledgeable and qualified to do the job. Even though they were one of the highest quotes that we received, we decided to go with them because we wanted the job done right. Worst decision we ever took. Once we signed the contract, no one ever contacted us to schedule a date for the work. I had to constantly reach out and be left to wait days/weeks before getting a reply. Once they came to do the work, they told me they had to fix something with my insulation which cost an additional 3000$. The entirety of the work done cost me just shy of 20000$. In January, I had an issue with condensation and frost in my attic, since they were the last people to come, I called them to come have a look. I was quoted 350$+tax to have someone come take a look and I was invoiced 750$+tax for 1 guy that came for less than an hour just to tell me the problem was with the insulation and not the roof. When I contested the charge, they told me it’s because of the cost of inflation and I was charged for 4 hours of travel time which is completely irrational and ridiculous. Now in May, I woke up to a long metal strip with nails hanging off my roof. I emailed, left 2 messages and had to call 3 times before I spoke to someone, who basically admitted to never reading my email. Then goes on to tell me that that particular part of the roof was not replaced. They kept it from the original and since they hadn’t replaced it, it is not covered by my guarantee. And obviously there would be an extra charge to come fix it. This company has 0 transparency, has no follow through when it comes to customer service and once your bill is paid, you’re on your own. Had I gone with a smaller company that would have cost me half the price, I would have accepted that kind of response, but for 20000$ I expected a little more. 0 value, 0 customer service, 0 follow through… very angry and disappointed. I would never recommend this company not even to my worst enemy.
