They sent Jonathan a few days after my initial call, who assessed our tankless water heater, a shower issue and our upstairs bathroom. Over the course of 3 visits, Jonathan reinforced the piping on our water heater, fixed the shower issue, re-caulked our bathroom and kitchen and fixed some other minor issues, all at a reasonable rate. Jonathan was very professional, friendly and answered the many questions I had regarding the plumbing in our old home. I would recommend giving Leaside Plumbing a call for your plumbing needs.

After inspecting the drain system and asking questions, Rick described what may have occurred, and outlined possible solutions. He allowed me to make the final informed choice to replace all pipes and fittings under the sink. It was more work than I anticipated but he did it all in one visit, and improved pipe slopes and connections. In this case received a call that a leak in a water pipe shut off valve was leaking. Not being handy in plumbing I had to make a call to find someone we could trust & count on to do the job properly so that our dependent would not have further stress in their home. In finding someone I chose a local area plumber that had good reviews hoping that understanding the area, they would be protective of their reputation. From the start of the conversation, Jonathan (weekend on duty) was professional and had calm, good demeanor on the phone with me. In quick explanation of the problem and texting later of photos he had requested to ensure the issue could be fixed, we felt comfortable in booking a home visit. Within 2 days, plumber was on site, replaced with a new valve, tested system with me to make sure was working and left with my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend #LeasidePlumbing for your plumbing needs. Not inexpensive but they do the job right & in complete and timely, professional manner.

He is terrific in explaining in plain language and physician-like in problem solving. Came within cost and time. Much appreciated.

A word of caution I have for new home owners or those inexperienced with plumbing: double check the work is being done in the most efficient way possible by doing a bit of research yourself on what you are asking this company to complete. Drew came to our home at the beginning stage of the renovation, we explained to him our final vision, and he completed his work. When Rick came at the end of the renovation, he disagreed with the way Drew had completed the work, stating it had made it harder for him to do his portion of the job. Rick also denied that Leaside plumbing would have completed the job the way Drew did, and only conceded it was Leaside plumbing when I showed him the receipt. The extra hours and work needed from Rick due to Drew’s initial time was reflected on our bill. All in all the quality seems great, but we definitely paid more. UPDATE: Leaside plumbing followed up with me about this and gave me a chance to share my experience. They took ownership of the situation and we were able to rectify my issues. Very impressed with the costumer service, and appreciative of the time Tom took to speak with me. Would recommend.
