★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's your typical Lebanese pastry. It's pretty good. The best is the Petit Four (cookies), and the Knefi is good too. The Baklava is ok, and so are the cakes (mostly Black Forest style). The knefi is loaded!
Service is pretty fast and polite, but sometimes they don't give you prices over the phone which I found a little annoying.
Like I said it's pretty good, but what makes it stand out from the rest of the Lebanese pastries in Ottawa is the Petit Four in my opinion, and the size of the Knefi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a very poor experience with this bakery recently. My husband and I went to pick up some birthday treats last week, including two slices of cake and a few varieties of baklava. The cakes were as expected but to our horror there was a giant rock embedded within the pistachios and nuts in one of the baklava pieces...my poor mother bit into it and chipped her $10,000 implant and injured one of her other teeth. This is absolutely unacceptable, disgusting and honestly, confusing. How does a rock like this end up in your baking? Do you not inspect the nuts for contaminants? See the photo for comparison of the size of the rock to a penny...it is not small. Anyone paying at least a little attention to their craft would notice this in their pistachio mixture before baking it into the pastries. We are incredibly disappointed and will be bringing this up with Food and Safety. Do better for your customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impolite person serving clients. Made me feel extremely angry today. I asked her nicely about the prices of two cakes and she made it clear that’s bothering her by rolling her eyes right in front of my eyes.
I was very happy to come to this bakery and this person ruined it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So good!!! Aside from the delicious baklava, one of the only places in Ottawa to get real French pastries made with real cream and butter. Prices are also very fair. Plus, they are open late. Love this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has a good selection and was open when I arrived. Prices were good and they had what we were looking for. Beware they charge 25-50¢ to accept a debit card, there was no sign advising me of this ahead of time and no way to avoid paying it. for an $80+ transaction it's a bit of a scam, and I usually avoid business that try to offload their merchant costs to the end user. No Credit Cards accepted

The store is cute & the staff friendly & kind. Easy to get a cake the day before the birthday event which was awesome?.
We ordered a strawberry shortcake. Was a little dissappointed in just getting a plane vanilla cake which tasted very much more like an almond flavour, with slight jam like spread in the middle. Not enough spread either for cake ratio. No strawberries or custard in the cake- which is the a key in strawberry short cake. There were a handful on the top of the cake. Was dissappointed in the cake for expecting a strawberry short cake.
Their assortment of baklava was great & those are amazing ?.
I wouldnt order a strawberry shortcake or a blackforest cake from this place- it may fail your expectations??... However if you want some baklava- go here ?% ?.
