β β β β β I had the good (?) fortune of overhearing Laurie Anne and her husband John discussing my appointment today while I was waiting for a facial and eyebrow shape. Derogatory comments were made about my being from Rutland so I wouldn't be driving a shiny Mission Corvette. One of the first things I overheard John say was "How much money are we going to bring in from this girl". My first instinct was to leave but instead I knocked on the door and advised them I had overheard their conversation and that I was leaving. No apology, even when I reiterated part of the conversation, they just both acted surprised. They may be good at what they do, I don't know, but there are many other great spas in Kelowna with people who are caring and sincere. These two - not professional, not a class act. At all.

β β β β β I have been seeing Laurie Anne for electrolysis for over a year now after a laser mishap initially made my problem worse! In just one year she has pretty much fixed the problem! Electrolysis can be uncomfortable, but her calm demeanor, professionalism and steady hand really help! Thanks Laurie Anne! :)

Her expert knowledge of skin care and her professionally applied applications are incomparable. Visiting her cozy, welcoming spa is always a most pleasurable and relaxing experience, one that I highly recommend. Best facials I've ever had with great long-lasting effect!!

Professional, hospitable, trustworthy and unpretentious. Laurie and John care about people and excellence in their work. Highly recommend.

β β β β β Laurie Anne is knowledgeable, professional and thorough. Her studio is very clean and the ambiance is peaceful and calming.
I am very pleased with the results of my electrolysis treatments. I have also had eyebrow tinting done several times with fabulous outcome. I will absolutely continue to see Laurie and recommend her 100% ?

β β β β β No method to book an appointment online, so I emailed, I was told to call. Credit where it's due:I did get a quick reply. My experience was however already approaching more steps than necessary. Called to book an appointment for electrolysis, and was given a very cryptic response, saying she's limited in what she can (or is willing to) do. "I have answered your question". She said shortly after, despite not having actually answered my question. I asked for clarification, and recieved another cryptic, snarky response, hinting that she's not interested in my business because I likely have a hair texture she isn't comfortable with. She's not equipped to do Brazilians, which is not an issue -I have some facial hair I want to get rid of too. There may have been a misunderstanding but I feel like her mind was made up when she answered. She was patronizing on the phone and when I asked her outright if she was uninterested in my business, she confirmed that to be true, still not giving straightforward, direct answers.
