They tried to kick my father out of the hospice here in 2018 because he wasn't dying fast enough, we also found bugs in his bed and just the overall lack of cleanliness of the place and professionalism from all the staff was terrible. I submitted a complaint to Fraser health but they of course found no wrong doing in any of their actions... Hopefully its better now

I cannot explain how disappointed i am based on the service here. They didn't treat patient right. A patient I know was having a hard time, AND all she asked for was help. Care aids and nurses are supposed to ensure that your health and safety is fully taken care of. But what's REALLY funny is the fact that a patient here who's asking for help doesn't actually get that, and in return gets a response that just leaves the patient hanging like? They're getting paid extra to do what?

Horrible... Our relative was there and it was a really bad experience for us (Hospice). Rude and unprofessional staff. HORRIBLE customer service over the phone. We are in the middle of filing a complaint to Fraser health authorities and other associations. Staff at the hospice are arrogant, unfriendly and most of them look like they hate their job. We have video recordings of our friend before he passed, he testified on how rude some specific staff were to him. I don't understand how no one isn't doing anything to train their employees better. What a horrible place to die

Very nice home for long term care. I understand Laurel Place leases out the space for hospice and rehab to Fraser Health Authority, so they have different staff in those areas. In long term care, my aunt is happy with the care she receives.

Most nurse in this hospice are poorly train and has very little compassion. I feel like my loved one was not taken care of the way they should. Every time I go visit my loved one, when I feed them water they seemed to be dying of thirst. So clearly they were not feeding him water overnight when I asked them to, because he has trouble feeding himself. Also, the head nurse (whatever her names was) has a very bad attitude. If I had the chance to reconsider, I defiantly would not send my loved one there in the first place.

The Nursing Home is deplorable. The food is unacceptable. 6700 each month. What a waste.... Be sure to receive any and all funds after your loved ones pass on, as they tend to keep them for months with nothing but excuses. Very sad sad experience.

Our Mom was there for few days and we had great experience. Staff was caring and very helpful. We had a chance to chat with Brenda (The NP) she was amazing and very informative. Thank you guys for taking care of our Mom.

This has taken me a long time to write, my grandma was put in the hospice when she had pancreatic cancer. When she was first placed here they told us we would get to be with her in her final moments as there are signs someone is passing soon. The last day I saw my grandma alive she was in so much pain that I went to go get her nurse and he very nonchalantly said oh she’s been like that all day…like what?!??? I thought pain management was suppose to be taken care of and he did not care at all, later that evening they called to say she wasn’t doing well and to come we first got there the nurse came downstairs and told us that only 2 people could come up to the hospice but before I left earlier I had asked the rules because of covid how many people could come to say goodbye and they had told me 2 people at time but as many people as you like. So after the nurse gave my dad a hard time she then proceeded to say I’m sorry for your loss, so the whole time she was making an issue she knew my grandma had passed away already. The last and final thing that I think was so horrible is when we had said goodbye and were leaving the nurse tells us that she thought my grandma was going to pass a few hours earlier…why didn’t they call us?? They called us later and we didn’t get to spend those last minutes with her…if you care about your loved one and want them to be comfortable before they pass do not put them here.
