★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time hiring someone to clean my house. Jen and Evan were an amazing team who worked very efficiently together. Jen made my bathroom look like a hotel room’s bathroom. She carefully folded each face cloth and towel into a very pretty display. Even folding the toilet paper that was on the roll. I didn’t want to use the bathroom when she was done…it looked so nice! My stove stop and microwave looked brand new when they were done scrubbing. It was super easy to book the appointment initially. The cleaner they used smells fantastic. Jen was very friendlyand personable. They got a lot done in the time they were here. If I am looking to get my house cleaned again I will definitely call Lathered!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hired lathered for the $150 for 5 hours. Initially, I emailed twice before getting a response. Then after they responded to my second email, I had to email them twice before they responded to actually set something up so the communication was poor. The excuse was that some of my emails went to junk, funny how the email that didn't go to junk was the one where I said it was my second attempt a second time. They arrived at 1:00pm and left after two hours (they said 2 people being there for 2.5 hours is the same as 1 person for 5) which is fine, but they didn't even meet the 2.5 hours. I filled out the questionnaire on what was important to me and the only thing they did out of what I said was important was my floors and bathrooms. They said they spot cleaned the walls which they didn't, baseboards weren't done which I said was important as well as the walls, and they said they cleaned the inside of the microwave which they didn't. They also did not clean the grit from inside the toilet bowl. I emailed them following this to explain I was a disappointed and then they said they were sorry and would send out a senior person to fix the issues Wednesday or Thursday. I emailed back saying either day was fine and again did not get a response and no one came either day. My home is 1464 square feet and 2 bedrooms and one bathroom aren't even used so it's quite small so I would expect the things I said were important would be done but I guess not. I would definitely not recommend them due to service and communication.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company used to be pretty good but the last year has been awful!! I get screwed around every month when they either dont show up or change the time the night before or morning of. I’ve had to take pictures numerous times of very obvious things they miss and this last time I asked for my money back. Do not hire this company!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used Lathered for a standard clean of 4 washrooms, dusting, floors etc. The clean took longer than expected which was fine. The report card had a couple things checked off that didn't appear to be done such as the banisters and window sills. Would use again but ensure my expectations are clear as to what needs to be done. More expensive than my previous cleaner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The absolute best and thorough clean! I appreciate the “Lathered List” to see and know what they got done! It’s so easy to arrange a clean. They bring everything they need! The smell, appearance and lift they give me home
brings me so much joy to come home too.
The only recommendation I’d have is to give people a better idea of the time it’ll take (I also know, to some extent, you won’t know until you’re into the clean) - do you have a team of one coming and you should plan on being gone for the day or a team of two and only a few hours etc. … I know I’d appreciate more people, less time but if that’s something we could let you know at booking?!?
