★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the tail end of a long bike ride, got a bunch of water and a much-needed hot dog. Hot dog was great, and had a nice chat with the proprietor -- super-friendly folks. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't recommend this place enough! The food is fresh and delicious, perfect for a snack or a lakeside picnic. We often order extra to take home with us because the food is that great. The cinnamon sticks are to die for and the owner is the sweetest gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That place is simply gorgeous. The lake, the marina, the beach, great bike trail... so definitely go there for that. About the food...if you forget to bring your sandwich then this is a good place to fill your stomach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice staff. I ordered a hotdog once while on a run and although it took some time, when it finally came it was excellent. loaded with toppings like onions and peppers, also the pop was super cold. Only complaint is it took about 10 minutes for them to make.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going for years, the fries are nice , freshly cut and good portion. You can definitely share a medium fries with your loved one and have a good time by the lake. She will give little kids small popsicle as extra If they ask politely which reinforce good manner in kids. I hope to see this food truck for many years to come even though the area will be developed very soon, I will stand with her to keep the food truck at the location when the big developers try to push her out in favor of a bland franchise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lakeside Food Truck is located right by Whitby Promenade Park, not too far from the parking.We ordered a medium fries and the portion size was huge! They overload the container so you are definitely getting the best bang for you back. However, keep in mind this food truck accepts only cash, no debit or credit.
The lady serving us was very friendly and kind. While we enjoyed the crispiness of the fries, they were very bland despite us topping it off with salt. I’d recommend you have salt layered in the fries or buy a sauce to make it less dry and more flavourful.
