Purchased a pre-owned vehicle a month ago and did not take the extended warranty.
Within a week I noticed the radio was malfunctioning and anticipated problems.
To my surprise their service department replaced it with no issues whatsoever.
First rate service from the sales team, credit department and service department.

I purchased a new 2020 Subaru Outback in January 2020 from Ogilvie Subaru in Ottawa, Ontario. The battery has died four times while parked in my garage in the Laurentians. No lights or accessories had been left on in the vehicle. The first time in July and the last on November 20. The vehicle has 16,000Km at present. The last time on Nov 20, I contacted the 360 CARE and the car was towed 35km to Lachute Subaru. It was determined that the battery is defective and need to be replaced. Unfortunately, the required battery is on back order and will not be available for a few weeks.
The Service Manager -Julien-Pierre (J.P.) Chartrand-has gone out of his way trying to help me resolve this extremely frustrating problem. He purchased a new compatible replacement battery and installed it so I may use my car until the Subaru AGM battery arrives. He has informed me at every step in this process and has made me feel like a very valued customer. Subaru is very fortunate to have a person of his caliber representing them. It has helped me feel better about Subaru Canada.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I should have read the free governmental information (OPCQ site) about how to protect myself when dealing with this type of garage beforehand. I was too confident. Better be safe than sorry. I will know better next time. Ask for the removed parts. My good new wipers were changed ,w/o the garage asking me. What a waste. Their new ones wipe worse than mine. Ask for written estimate for repairs above $100 (OPCQ says so). If the wise front desk repair advisor seems impolite, ask for your car keys and leave right away. Trust your instinct, I should have. If nonetheless you leave your car for repairs, take pictures of your WHOLE car body beforehand (new dent could appear). it happened to me.

Their whole team is professional, kind and I always feel like a million bucks when we drive away. I'm from Ottawa and they're absolutely worth the drive! It's safe to say that Lachute Subaru is one of a kind and I am a client for life. 5++ stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Subaru Lachute was recommended to me by a friend. The purchase of the vehicle went great. Thanks André. But my problem is with the after sale/warranty service, they are just horrible. They don't honor the manufacturer warranty (rear right brake issue) and when they do, it's just bad service, make me come back and forth the the dealer, order the wrong part etc. I have had the car for almost 3 years and have electrical problems and rust not covered by warranty since I have pasted 60k. My first and last purchase from this dealer. I don't recommend this place to anyone.
