Our brand HIWALK was founded by Head Lsdy (an explorer) and Karan Wang (a designer) in Dallas, Texas, USA, in 1976. HIWALK was originally designed for people aged 20-35, with the aim of creating an outdoor sports brand for young people.

In the early days, it only focused on the research, development and production of campus products. Our company did not hesitate to hire fashion experts and top designers in the United States to create vulcanized shoes with colorful canvas, which were popular among young people and brought fashion elements into campus leisure lifestyle around the world.

With the continuous growth of sales, we set up an independent factory in Guangzhou, China in 1991. In addition to enriching Hiwalk product series, we also have different ways of cooperation with some famous international brands such as Columbia, Explorer etc. Due to high quality, lower price and unique design, our shoes are in great demand worldwide.

In 2000, in order to provide better products for more people, Hiwalk resolutely start to develop outdoor hiking shoes. Under the direction of chief designer Mr. Wilson Minari in the United States, Hiwalk has produced a wide range of outdoor hiking shoes with full intellectual property rights. In 2006, Hiwalk shoes gained the Fashion Innovation Award and The Best Popularity Award by China International Sports Federation. This marks the beginning of the Hiwalk brand's entry into China's domestic market. In early 2009, Hiwalk successfully produced walking shoes with Bird's Nest elements of the 2008 Olympic Game, and ultra-lightweight leisure shoes series, which caused a new wave of sensation in the market.

Since its inception, the company has been committed to original designs based on European and American customers’ preference. In 2010, the company began to value Chinese market and established exclusive stores in many cities to develop sales channels. In just a few years, great achievements have been made. Up to 2020, there are more than 500 Hiwalk chain stores in different cities. The Hiwalk shoes are becoming more and more popular around the world.
