Maison Normand is an absolutely incredible place! You will be received there with a lot of kindness and know-how. I stayed here for 2 nights and was able to appreciate the excellent work of the hosts. The important and appreciated points are: the incredible cleanliness of the premises and the good condition of the building / renovations and facilities, the beautiful small inground swimming pool (new) under the trees, the varied and plentiful breakfasts. Due to my late booking, only room 4 was left, which is actually a family room. A first room with a queen bed, a second room with a futon for the children. You will have a beautiful large bathroom with an incredibly large enameled cast iron bath and a sitting area at your disposal. The owners regularly visit Asia and bring back all kinds of beautiful things that decorate the house. I was charmed by all these little details. The building is in the main square of the village just across from the church. In this village all the owners make it a point of honor to maintain their house and to decorate it with flowers. It's an incredible village, you'd think of yourself in a postcard! You should know that it is not air conditioned, but as far as I'm concerned it didn't bother me because a good wind always blows on the heights of the cliffs of the St. Lawrence River.

Accueil assez froid.
Quite cold reception. The owner was not wearing the mask, nor her partner in addition to making it clear to us that if we are healthy not to wear the mask and to wear it if we were afraid ... whatever. She quoted and looked at my friend who disinfected her hands when she came home. We discussed it with other people having a business in the village and they are of the same opinion as us ... it is rather poor attitude. We will never go back.

It’s not really a general store anymore; it’s a beautiful boutique with nice exotic clothings, nice cottons and linen in the materials, quite unique. Beautiful garden and a historic building in the beautiful village and neighborhood!

One of the most charming B&B's you will ever encounter! Nestled in the small town of Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly is La Maison Normand, a beautiful historic home with a General Store front. Carol and Diane have done an absolute amazing job of maintaining and adding to their beautiful property. The rooms were spacious and clean - it was unfortunate that we checked in really late that evening. We were still greeted by Carol in his evening robe at almost 2200h! But the most magical experience was the breakfast the next morning. My oh my was the spread amazing! The table was set with 3 different local cheeses, fruit, the most unique jams, maple fudge and a jar of the most delicious Duck Rillettes. As if that wasn't enough, there were freshly baked croissants, a selection of breads, fresh fruit with coffee/tea. But that was not enough! The kids got freshly made crepes while the adults got this delicious savoury bread pudding to add to the already impressive spread of food! This breakfast would easily smash any other high end restaurant's brunch! Carol and Diane are proud of their Quebecois heritage and they encouraged us to practice our French with them despite making it a tad on the uncomfortable side. They were so understanding and amazing hosts. This should definitely be a stop on your travels through Quebec. Merci Beaucoup!!

The best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at! Carol and Diane were warm and friendly hosts. They were very kind and encouraging with our practice of French, and accommodating our 9 pm check-in. Their house is beautiful, immaculately clean and much larger in person than in the photos. We enjoyed gathering in the upstairs common room in the evening, and playing piano in the morning. The breakfast is gourmet, delicious and filling. We had 3 rooms and my friends and my family were all impressed! We wish we made time to use their pool, the kids would’ve loved it. The town is so cute, and the walk down to the water is easy - opening to lovely coastal-prairie views. We would definitely recommend this stay. It got our Quebec adventure off to a great start! Merci beacoup Carol et Diane!
