All of our needs were met and more - a fully private entrance, excellent soundproofing so we knew we weren't disturbing anyone (or vice-versa), and a fantastic covered deck with BBQ (along with the fully equipped kitchen, laundry, etc.) topped it all off. Rose was a great host, making sure we had everything we needed including an impeccably clean space (even sharing some of her garden produce!). Would unreservedly recommend and are thinking about our next opportunity to stay here again!
J	J.C. Dayne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Rose's place during the summer of 2020 during Covid. The place is absolutely beautiful and sparkling clean! There was just the two of us so we found it very spacious. It would be a great place to go with another couple, as there are two completely separate king bedrooms with their own ensuites. The kitchen was set up with everything we needed and it was nice to have the laundry room right there to use as well. Rose was a great host, giving us a lot suggestions as to what to do with our time. And the golf course, which was fantastic, was just a short 2 minute drive away. And, in fact, there are lots of golf courses within a 30 minute drive so we checked out quite a few of them. The huge covered deck was a great place to sit out on after being out and about all day. Stores and restaurants are conveniently located and the proximity to the lake was wonderful! We have been to a lot of vacation rentals but this one checks off all the boxes, that's for sure! Thanks so much Rose for being such a great host - we hope to come back again soon!
s	shelley walklin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came across the Shuswap Guest Suite as we were using google to find a rental for 3 weeks as we needed accommodation before we took possession of our new home. We did not expect the suite to be as luxurious as it was as the on-line pics did not do it justice. The suite is truly a "home away from home" where we wanted for nothing. We were staying at the Suite during the heat wave and we were so grateful for the powerful AC that allowed us to "sleep like babies". We have stayed in many rentals throughout our travels and we can honestly say that the Shuswap Guest Suite is one of those vacation get aways you don't want many to know about. Thankfully, we don't need to keep it a secret as we bought a home in beautiful Blind Bay to live out our retirement dream. The Shuswap is truly an amazingly beautiful place with so much to do, but Blind Bay is just so special. Finding this suite was almost as "sweet" as making new friends with the owners, Rose and Daren. Thank you Rose and Daren for allowing us to share your beautiful home, we look forward to making many more memories with you both as our friends and neighbour. :) Shelley & Glen

The suite is well designed, roomy and very comfortable. The friendly and accommodating host has thought of everything, including kitchenware, toiletries, reading material, helpful hints for visitors, etc. We had a fantastic stay there, and will definitely be back—one of the best vacation rentals we have ever found!
