What an amazing week we had, after all our years of looking for a great cottage rental we finally found it. The cabins are spotless, roomy and equipped with everything you might need. This was our best camping experience yet and will definitely be returning.

No better place to take the family for a nice relaxing week on the lake. The cabins are RIGHT on the lake, but you still are able to drive right up to them. Fishing is excellent in July and August, as is the scenery and weather.

Fully equipped Cottages and grounds were immaculate, nice firepit, great beach w/ muskoka chairs. Fishing boats were above standard as all equipped with Yamaha 15HP. (new and reliable). Fishing was spectacular, lot's of Pike, Walleye and Bass. Waterfall into Huron was teaming with 16" bass. Well worth the 15 minute hike from dam. Thanks for the memories!

Just got back from 1 week at Lacloche Lake Camp. Not our first time booking a cottage for a week but certainly the best experience we've had so far. It was myself, my husband and our 15 year old son. When we arrived the cottage was spotless. Seriously...so clean. Sitting on the table was a bottle of wine and a welcome/thank you note. This definitely was a sweet surprise and started our week off right. We stayed in the Edgewater and the name is the perfect description for this place. When sitting at the table eating supper you look out and actually feel like you are on the water as that's the view you get. The beds were very comfortable with soft clean sheets, blankets and plenty of huge fluffy pillows. There were plenty of super soft towels for all of us and more in a bin if we required them. The cottage came so well equipped with everything we needed that we honestly only needed to bring clothing and food. There is wifi which pleased my son (and me) and satellite TV. I know it's camping but I'm a glamper. I love the outdoors and the lake but I also enjoy all the comforts of home and that includes watching the Jays or Tennis. Was very happy to see all the sports channels! The staff checked in once in a while to ensure all our needs were met and we're so polite and friendly. We also rented a boat for the week to get some fishing in. Every single outing fish were caught. There was no getting skunked! They made sure we always had fuel in our boat without us even having to ask. The location of these cottages is such that it gets a nice breeze off the lake on the sunny days. Not only does this help with comfort but it blows the bugs away. In the evening when the wind dies down I was surprised that that mosquitoes were kept to a bare minimum. Not what I expect from northern ontario! We found when it was overcast there was less of a breeze that day and a few more mosquitoes managed to stick around. As luck would have it our cottage had a beautiful screened in porch so we could still sit out and enjoy the evening without being a tasty treat. All in all this was our most enjoyable experience to date. We already booked again for next year!

Great Place - Great Location We just spent a week at LaCloche Lake Camp for a family vacation. I heard this was one of the nicest places to stay on the North Shore and I have to agree. The camp consists of 4 cabins which can be rented together or separately. They are clean, modern and very comfortable. They are right on the lake shore and have great views and feature a screened in porch for when the bugs come out. LaCloche Lake is beautiful and very quiet. Most of it lies within the LaCloche Provincial park so it is largely undeveloped and has great places to swim and hike in peace. We'll be back!

We just came back from our boys fishing trip at La Cloche Lake Camp and I must say that it was an incredible experience. Fishing was incredible with a wide variety of species (bass, walleye, pike, trout). Exploring adventures of the hidden lakes and waterfalls are a definite 'must do'. Excellent beach and swimming. The cabins are beautiful, clean and very spacious. I would recommend this camp for not only fishing enthusiast but for families wanting to take in all that comes with cottaging on a lake. With 4 cabins available, large families can be accommodated very easily.
