One of the oldest steakhouse's in Mississauga close by to HWY 427 and Dundas beside the Toyota dealership, I don't think you can miss the mansion that is sitting between plaza and with a pair of fire illuminated pillars. We've been here many times but have yet to write a review so here I am. The steakhouse is very classic design with plenty of seating for small or large groups and parking is plentiful. We had ordered a bunch of different appetizers and couple of steaks to share between 4 people, there was plenty of food to eat and even take home. We started the night with an order of escargot, flash fried calamari, and bacon wrapped scallops. The Calamari was crunchy on the outside tender on the inside, just add a bit of lemon juice and it's perfect I didn't need to use the seafood sauce. The escargot was a good size about 2 inches and the butteris perfect to dip their bread in. The jumbo bacon wrapped scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. For the mains we had ordered the charbroiled lamb chops cooked to a perfect medium rare these were tender and juicy no gamy taste at all. There were 4 generous sized chops. We had also ordered the chateaubriad for two which a 24oz filet mignon for two but I would say the size can for for 3 or even 4 paired with some appetizers and it's a good size meal. We also had this cooked to medium rare juicy and tender and comes with a good serving of veggietables and potatoe balls. Lastly we ordered a peppercorn steak also cooked to medium rare served with a delicous wine sauce. I found that this one was a little tougher not as juicy, however the wine sauce made up slightly for the dryness and again this was served with some veggies. To end the night we had ordered a slice of their coconut cream pie and chocolate tartuffo. Each dessert had it's pros but I prefer the coconut cream pie, it has strong coconut flavour the cream wasn't heavy and the sprinkle of cocnut shaving added to the texture. The cocolate tartuffo wasn't overly sweet I loved the tartness of the raspberry sorbet was a perfect match for the sweetnest of the cocolate ice cream. The staff are all so wonderful and kind. They kept the table clear of used dishes and kept the wine and water topped up. Due to covid now they are also scanning each a person for proof of vaccination and a quick quistionnaire. FeiJai Out!

La Castile is a institutional steakhouse. The full experience. From the moment you enter the parking you feel your at a special place. The place feels like a mixture or Hogwarts and old church style vibe. This is definitely a more mature steakhouse. So much interesting decor inside, definitely memorable. Some of the best customer service and hospitality I have seen at a restaurant, keep it up. It's the little things that matter when having clients. Food presentation is top notch. Food is great - amazing quality. I will say though the steak I had was amazing, but not insane. But that's being extremely picky. Definitely recommend this steakhouse, for a memorial experience and night out.

The service was nice and friendly, the food was very good, but not extraordinary, the ambience was outstanding in most areas, except we were seated tucked away behind a dish pit, or wherever it is servers bring dirty dishes. It was very distracting having the loud clinking from when they return the dishes regularly throughout the meal. Having said that, I would certainly go back, and hope to be seated in a more central location where we can appreciate the decor, not be tucked away. I think our Chateaubriand was a little overdone for what we asked, but it was ok. The carrot cake was so dense I wonder if it was underdone. My husband's cheesecake was divine though. Excellent cappuccinos.

It was our 1st time eating at this fine vintage restaurant for Mother’s Day. Everything was superb from ambience, great flavourful food and friendly hostesses. I highly recommend this place to honour any special occasion. The dessert was also amazing especially the carrot cake.

Came here a few times before but most recently came for a little work dinner and it was phenomenal. The calamari was cooked sooooo perfectly and the table side Caesar salad was amazing. We all ordered either the bone in rib steak or the king crab and it was to die for. We will definitely be back - also the venue is absolutely beautiful ??

We went there for date night. The hostess was very pleasant and helpful. We were seated at a nicely located table, suitable for our occasion. The service was excellent, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was plentiful and delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly as ordered. After dinner we walked over to the bar area for coffee and dessert. We listened to beautiful live music at the piano bar. The lady singing had an amazing voice. I would always go back.

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! Located on the busy street of Dundas in Mississauga, you can easily find it passing by as it looks like a real castle with real burning torches on the pillar walls. Inside it's like stepping back in time to another place, with beautiful high ceiling and wood working designs of an old European lodge, it's like a scene from Harry Potter's Hogwarts castle! The staff is very friendly and very professional. They have a fantastic wine selection. As for the main attraction of this established estate, it's the food that is the most wonderful part of the experience. I've been looking high and low for a good Chateaubriand and this place has it, it's the best! It's my favorite dish! Great experience and an absolutely fantastic atmosphere. You definitely feel and treated like royalty!

I really am not happy to give 3 star to this place but with their very expensive prices, I expected better quality and customer services. Definitely the interior and building is a unique one, very beautiful and eye catching, it’s like you are in an old Royal European mansion with fantastic windows, plates on the walls and chairs. The quality of food was not as good as their expensive prices, although every food portion were very big at their size, even their cakes as deserts. Definitely when you pay $35-$40 for a drink or appetizer and more than $100 for a steak, you expect one of the most delicious drink and food you ever tried. Also the people who serves you, are one of those non-communicative ones, no smile or effort to explain about their menus or trying to make you more comfortable (except the lady who was at coat check). I believe as they have their own fixed business customers, they don’t even think to make other customers happy ?
