My first visit to Montreal in three years and I'm happy to find this place still open in Complexe Desjardins. I got the flatbread sandwich with ground lamb, "for here," and it was delicious. The bread was perfectly crisp and the seasoned mayo in the side a delight. I loved it, revelled in it. It's sad that everything had to be served on paper plates and there was only dining on tables in the mall corridor, but still incredibly tasty. I found the service very nice, not overly friendly but nice enough, and don't quite understand the negative reviews- my experiences here have always been positive.

Good option for a quick breakfast and morning start, specially if you are tourist and located near Place des Arts. The bread & coffee are really good and they have great selection. The price is a little expensive and we agree with some comments and reviews, the staff are not that happy working there, but anyway Montreal staff are usually like that, so we are used to it.

Love this place; have eaten here many times. They have good quality food, great desserts. Last time i had the pizza with cherry tomatoes, cheese and olives accompanied with a small salad: kale and beats, very yummy! They have service with a smile!

As other reviews have said, the service is kinda unfriendly; it feels awkward ordering, like they don't made reference to the posted menus (and the omlette menu is around-a-corner from the cash register). They have a few tables to "dine-in" but not enough staff to clean them. But the food is tasty and didn't take too long.

Be aware that young girl(with weird makeup) working here is overcharging on your order and taking tips. ⭐️MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR RECEIPT⭐️ During my trip to Montreal, I visited this place several times because the food was so delicious. But on my last visit I experienced a really terrible service. Be sure to get your receipt when you visit here. If you don't get a receipt, you won't know what you paid for. I ordered two Americanos and paid for $15.94 including tip. While paying, I asked for a receipt because I thought it was a bit expensive for two Americanos. When I checked the receipt, I was charged for 2 mochas instead of Americano. If I didn’t take my receipt, I wouldn’t know. It’s totally insane. When I ask for the receipt, she took kinda long to give me my receipt(At this point I was sure she is overcharged me on purpose). I asked her about her mistake, she didn't apologize or explanation and instead got mad at me. The place service is really unprofessional. It is doubtful that such a scammer can even work here. You should know that preparing delicious food is not everything, but a minimum of service must be provided for long-term business.

The chocolate hazelnut croissant is the best dessert ever! The croissant with salmon (love the capers!) or eggs are amazing, just ask to reheat them. Get fresh fruits with the combo. Really love this place!

This is by far the worst place I’ve been to in Montreal. My bagel with lox was horrible. The bagel was not fresh and hard as a rock. The coffee tasted like coffee flavoured water. The person(seems like the owner) looked like he watered down the coffee, pouring half of the actual coffee and half of what looks like very watered down coffee. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but now realize that’s what he really did. Scammers!!! The omelette was ok but not worth the money and the pastries were mediocre. When I asked for utensils and napkins, a man(seemed like the owner) was so rude, acted like I was bothering him. I spent almost $60 on pretty much just coffee and pastries, you’d think he’d be nice and thankful. I gave a tip upfront when I paid and I very much regret that. Never again! There are too many good places in downtown Montreal to put up with bad food and the worst service.

Wasn’t sure if I should give a four star rating or three, but unfortunately I think my experience is closer to a three. We had to be nearby and wanted coffee, and this place has a small lineup so we thought, mind as well get some coffee here. I am a fan of coffee and I take interest in trying out different types of coffee beans, but I guess this place isn’t the right place for coffee. We ordered an iced americano and a mocha along with a pistachio croissant and a dark chocolate & pear croissant. We both weren’t capable of finishing our drinks. I was waiting for the drink to be made and stood nearby and the barista was either new or just didn’t know how to make it and had to be guided along the whole time. It’s understandable, but the wait was long. The espresso for the iced americano definitely seemed to be pulled for a very long moment as well, which might be the reason why my coffee wasn’t so great. But then again, the name of this place shows that it’s more of a bakery. The pastries were really sweet but they were still okay, and probably can be better if it’s paired with good coffee. The service wasn’t welcoming (let’s say it’s because of the small lineup that appeared).
