Best Manhattan and Old fashion cocktails! We had the Bison and the duck/ beef tartar and it was delectable.

The drinks were on point and the food was quite delicious. The salmon tartar was very good and the veal short ribs melted off the bone. The atmosphere was energetic and was somewhere I could spend the whole night. To top it off our waiter, Pascal, was absolutely amazing, and would single handedly go back just to have him as our waiter again.

Atmosphere was pretty cool. We were crammed in like sardines. Even pre-covid times it was a little too tight. Server wearing mask below her mouth was a little off putting. Also, her drinking with table next to us seemed pretty unprofessional Tartars and cocktails were amazing. For a cocktail bar, only having one bartender and having to wait 30 mins for drinks was a little frustrating. Burgers were not homemade. You could tell it was a frozen patty as it was overcooked and lacking flavour. I would recommend going there for tartars and drinks only

After arriving late in Quebec City with my family, we were looking around for a dinner option and opted for L'Atlelier as it was the busiest of the restaurants on the Grand Allee. Two of the three items ordered, the chicken fajitas and nachos were below average, with a low quality American cheese and a 'chilli' that didn't bear much resemblance. A tartare was pretty good, but for a medium sized portion, felt exorbitant at $32. We also ordered a pitcher of drinks, and they were okay. Overall, L'Atelier definitely feels like a drinks first resto-bar, but with high end pricing for the food, it was well below expectations.

A place for dinner, then drink and party. Great night time vibe with good DJ and crowd. Not sure how the food is. Heard its good. Odd stickiness to the ground level floor, forcing our group to stay at the upstairs bar. Have a good time!

Had high expectations once we stepped inside.. very good decor and ambience, server was friendly and engaging and menu seemed appetizing. However for the price you pay the quality of the meal was sub par. Oysters were served without proper cutlery or sauces. No napkins or side dishes provided. Got the wrong order twice but server was kind enough to adjust it though. Had tartare and a chicken dish between the three of us and neither hit the sweet spot. Cocktails were nothing special for the price. As a summary you get a chain restaurant experience while paying for a high end place.

Excellent. Been now twice at the restaurant, its perfect. Excellent steak tartar with good wine and a great ambiance. One of the best in Quebec.

Place is very vibrant. We went there as we arrived late into Quebec and their kitchen is open until midnite (on Sundays at least) Really good drinks menu, the place is primarily a bar. Food was good, but the waiter messed up our order and gave us beef tartare instead of a burger. The tartare was great and tasty, but not what we had ordered and the waiter didn't seem to care.
