Let me start by saying when I eat in Quebec I expect great food. This was not great food. None of it. The soup was not ok, the salmon tartare average, the flank steak tough and unflavoured. Everything came with thick but unflavoured sauce. My wife did better with beef cheeks - they were quite good and service with a cheese flavoured mash potato. The resto is lovely and setting is really nice, very close to the old city and the service was excellent. The wine selection is also very good with some decent priced wine. One oddity I noticed is an extensive wine list that has wines worth up to $2K! I'm note sure who would spend that kind of coin on wine and pair it with this food.

This was a delicious meal! From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience with our teenagers!

I stayed in a room upstairs the restaurant while visiting Quebec City so I decided to try the restaurant. This is a great place for authentic French Quebecois cuisine. The portions don't look like a lot but it's deceptive since they were super filling. I had a thick squash soup...I thought I wouldn't like it but it was incredible. It had this sweet but slightly salty taste and thick texture and they put fresh black pepper in it, and you dipped bread sticks inside it while eating. I also tried a traditional French meal called salmon tartare. It's uncooked salmon, kind of like the French version of sushi. It was also amazing and somewhat tasted like bruschetta with salmon. The salmon was mixed with other herbs and onions and was actually kinda spicy.

Service was prompt for how busy they were. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was good from beginning to end! We had their duck confit spring rolls, shrimp arancini (perfect crispy exterior), braised beef cheek, roasted duck breast, maple cheesecake and, our server recommended we try the Brazilian cake which was not a let down at all!

My partner and I went looking for a romantic experience at this restaurant and the staff did not let us down. They've been operating for over 40 years, and the first bite of anything you order will explain exactly why. A picturesque scene of French fine dining done the right way left us feeling blissful and completely satisfied. Highly recommended! Thank you to Louis-Hébert for a lovely experience that transported us to Parisian Europe

The service is 10/10 and the food is also great! We arrived close to 10 pm for our 9:45 reservation and they seated us despite being closed at 10 pm (note: google says they close at 11 pm, but they actually close at 10 now and they can’t change their reservation system, so please don’t do what we did!). The waiter was super nice and still gave top notch service. They didn’t rush us at all and still produced great food! Outdoor seating was heated so it was comfortable to sit outside in the chilly night. Definitely recommend!

Let me just share my experiences, it was fantastic and beyond delicious. So I messed up and drove to Quebec city last minute with my family and didn't make no reservations. We wanted seafood and we got turned down by a few restaurants because first we had kids and 2nd we didn't have a reservation. So when Tafik from Morocco said he was OK for us to bring in kids we were just relived. I couldn't believe it they had fantastic kids menu , the kids loved the soup and their meals as well. When it came to my wife an I , we started with their seafood sharing plate and ordered oysters on the side. It was incredibly tasteful. I grabbed the rack the lamb and wife stuck to the lobster salad. She normally dips into my plate. not this time she was truly satisfied with her meal and for me like wow , best lamb chop I've ever , and I've been to New Zealand and had lamb chops there. Not sure what else was in it .. but it had lots of favour and it was an unusually thicker slab of meat , which was perfect because I could hold the lamb chop from the bone and have a large mouthful size in meat to chew on. if you are a family, I highly recommend coming here , not only will your kids love it bit so will the parents .

Excellent food for the most part. Nice place but not over the top, paper napkins, basic flatware. Professional, courteous service. Misses were on timing, with large gaps between courses and issues with a couple of dishes. The chicken was hard and very hot, as if it had been microwaved. The fois gras tasted only fatty with very little flavor, a fail. All the other food was outstanding. A very good meal and experience, overall.
