Definitely stay away from this company, their customer service is horrible and probably the worst I have ever encountered. I haven't received any contact from them after numerous attempts to get in touch with them over the last 3 weeks. All I need is a simple crank replacement. Also, their product is cheap, the windows aren't even 5 years and I'm already having problems. As a general contractor I'd recommend pella windows. Much better quality and the customer service is amazing

I second the β€œtake your money and run company” comment below. My grandmother got all new windows put in last year. Window screens did not fit on two and the handle was broken on another. A year later, she is still calling them to fix it and they just keep saying β€œI put in the service call someone will be there next week”. They also dropped new screens off at a house a block away with her name and address on them, the person who lives their got her info and dropped them off to us. This alone is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Take your business elsewhere.

Ordered and installed Garden doors and two windows. Screen for one window arrived torn. Waiting for replacement. Garden doors almost immediately started to show yellow stains. Waiting for a response on my requ for replacement. These products were bought through Home Depot and installed by Prime Window Installation.

my mom had a few windows and a door installed into her car port to enclose it and it is absolutely gorgeous! The quality and craftsmanship was very well done, thank you to our Dealer Mike, from Amica. And if I must say, the professionalism and artistry of your installer*** (not KV who manufactures the items) really makes or breaks the life expectancy. Cheers!

8 YEARS AGO AND WE ARE STILL HAVING PROBLEMS. We replaced 36 windows and doors in our home that we renovated in 2014 and I have five garden doors leak water on to our floor if there's a wind and heavy rain from the south and it's not leaking on the outside frame of the door but actually leaks through where the thermal was installed in the door. I had 4 transom windows above our garden doors that had to be replaced because the seal broke in the first two years and if it's real windy out you hear a whistle through our windows because they don't close tight worst windows and doors ever bought would not recommend this company to anybody. Here’s a picture of our doors that the company replaced a few years ago because they kept leaking around the windows in the doors onto our floor but when they replace them they replace them with doors that have a different gas in them compared to the transom window above the door it just looks really funny and the company offered to refund us the money for the doors through the window company that installed our doors two years ago but still haven’t refunded us the money definitely would not deal with this manufacture ever again.

I manage a company called National Waterproofing and Restoration and we ordered 7 windows for a customer of ours back in October 2021. We required a custom colour, so understandably these windows would take a little longer than the current 5-6 week lead time other window mfr's were running at. Our initial order listed a completion date of January, which then quickly turned to February 18th 2022 (16 week lead time). We thought waiting 4 Months for windows was a bit on the extreme side but we waited patiently. February 18th came and went and we didn't hear from KV Windows so I enquired on the whereabouts of our windows only to be told that the new date of completion would be March 11, 2022 but that date was estimated and could change at any time. I drove to KV Windows back in September before we placed the order through their system and gave them the custom colour chip for our customer's order. However after we placed the order they asked us for the colour reference so it became evident to me that they had misplaced the colour chip, which I assume contributed to the 5 Month lead time. My real disappointment started when I asked to have a Manager contact me. Our customer's reno has been delayed by 5 Months waiting on these windows and I wanted a reason as to why. Well someone from KV Windows emailed me back and asked me to call them. They apparently couldn't have picked up the phone themselves which seemed a little unprofessional in my opinion. Either way I ended up calling this person and speaking to them yesterday, which I wish I never wasted my time doing. The person was extremely abrasive over the phone and basically told me I have no options in this matter and I'm not able to cancel the order or get any sort of compensation for these delays. Now imagine the frustration that comes from waiting 5 Months for this order and then imagine receiving rudeness on top. This person never once apologized or empathized with the problems these lead times were causing, instead they thought it would be appropriate to lecture me on the current state of the world (as if I'm unaware of it) and then continued to jump from excuse to excuse in a very defensive manner. First off it was Covid. Then the supply chain issue had severely affected our order from October and then lastly, that the custom colour was to blame and paint suppliers do not currently have pigment to make the colour. Well, after our phone call, I called local paint suppliers and not one of them could corroborate that story. Regardless of all that, I had 2 colleagues sitting 6 feet away from me and they could hear this person yelling through the phone. It was blatantly obvious that this person did not care about me as a customer or the fact that they are running at an obscene lead time compared to their competitors. The funniest part of it all, was that this morning I get an email from their office that our windows are ready. So again if someone would have just looked into our order, this entire situation could have been handled a lot better in my opinion. I don't think the person I spoke with represented KV Windows in a professional manner and they definitely lost me as a customer. After my experience this isn't a company I want to align with or support. I've worked in Customer Service before and typically when a customer is frustrated and escalates a call to a Manager, that situation should be handled with more of a compassionate approach however in my opinion there was absolutely no tact and it certainly left me with an awful impression - enough so to make me sit down and write this review. Also it's worth mentioning that after this review was posted, I received a call from one of the Executives at KV Windows which made me really excited about the fact that someone there wanted to make things right. Unfortunately, to my surprise, the call was actually to have me take down the review. Apparently they had spoken to lawyers about pursuing this legally. I'm not here with the intention of discrediting anyone, this was just my personal experience on my order with KV Windows.
