Ascott Parc Event Centre

Ascott Parc Event Centre was an absolute sanctuary to have our wedding. The outdoor venue is a beautiful site! Our experience there was amplified with the operations managers customer service. Jay is absolutely the epitome of customer service. It all started with the day we received the phone call from Jay to set up a site visit for this beautiful venue. Planning a wedding during COVID-19 was extremely stressful and we had our fair share of disappointments during our planning process. We were hopeful, but at the same time still skeptical of what could come out of this site visit. As soon as we meet Jay, he made us feel at ease and comfortable with choosing this venue. He gave us a detailed tour of the venue and provided us with all the information we needed so that we could say yes to the venue! From that day on, he continued to provide us with support, ideas, and recommendations to make sure that our wedding day would go as smooth as possible. He was there to answer any questions, any time, and would even bring up some important factors that my wife and I hadn't thought of. The planning process was smooth and seamless with Jay, and because of that we were so happy and excited for our big day! On the wedding day, due to strong winds, my wife's ring blew away during the ceremony and everyone was stressed because it was nowhere to be found. Jay saved the day and our wedding by making sure that the ring was found as soon as the ceremony was finished. This venue was beautiful, and the food was delicious, so it was an easy decision make, but Jay definitely made this experience memorable, special, and went out of his way to make sure that it was perfect!

We celebrated our son's wedding at Ascott Parc. It was a great evening. Covid protocol was followed in every way. We were very impressed the way Melanie directed us from day 1. She spent so much time with us before we made the decision. Never regretted a bit. Will refer Ascott Parc anytime for any event. The venue was fantastic beyond expectation. Thank you so much Melanie. Our special thanks to Jay who was with us throughout the evening. Any enquiry....he was right there to answer and assist. The food was delicious. Never had this sumptuous food anywhere in all these years. We heard the same from all our guests who are still talking about it. Will definitely recommend Ascott to all our families and friends.

Edit to respond to owner below: 1. The cost of the extension changed several times which is why we decided not to extend. Our wedding planner was initially told $500 and then $1000 / per hour and then when my father called it changed to $1500 / hour. 2. On the day of at 3 pm when we asked to potentially extend it, we were told it would now be $2000 / hour without bar service so now the price so we would literally just be paying $2000 / hour to stand on the grass 3.My parents did say the event was excellent over the phone as they wanted to be nice but they both were extremely upset with how some events unfolded and got multiple calls from friends who noticed the security guard 4. The time extension was not the only issue leading up to the wedding. There were several others including rude and disorganized service from management 5. Not sure why it matters that the security guard stayed till 4:30 pm. The fact is that he started pushing our guests out at 3:58pm and had the nerve to stand over my father who was in a wheelchair to get him out quicker. We were not allowed to take a single photo with our bridal party. We were so rushed out by the security guard (including in the parking lot) that people didn't have a chance to say goodbye to our family or go to the bathroom. . There was absolutely no reason for us to be aggressively chased out of the parking lot when our event timing had ended 10 minutes prior. It was very clear the venue wanted to make us uncomfortable after we decided not to pay an extra $2k / hour with no bar. 6. None of my facts are twisted, if your business is in crisis then I would recommend giving your existing customers better service and understanding re-scheduling our wedding twice was also not easy. Original post: We recently hosted our wedding at Ascott Parc after having our deposit tied up with them from a wedding we had planned pre-covid. Had they not had our deposit we definitely would have ended up booking our event elsewhere. While the gazebo and outside grounds are beautiful and the food was amazing, the entire experience leading up to the day and dealing with management was such a nightmare that I would highly recommend not booking this venue for your wedding if you want to actually enjoy the experience. Ash who we dealt with is extremely rude, unprofessional and disorganized. On multiple occasions he would promise us something over the phone or in-person but then when it came to confirming details in writing he would completely change his tune and go back on his word. He also changed the pricing on certain things several times making it very stressful and frustrating as we never knew if what he was telling us was going to change by the next day. For example we asked about extending our event by a couple hours since we knew they did not have another event afterwards and when our wedding planner called to ask about pricing he told her $500 extra per hour, the next day she called to confirm and he said $1000 / hour and the following day my father called him to ask why he is now saying $1000 and then he said he can't do any less than $1500 extra per hour. Needless to say we felt like we were being taken advantage of and decided not to extend. Fast forward to the day of the wedding, our event was supposed to end at 4 pm and Ash had a security guard there at 3:58pm aggressively kicking our family and guests out. He was standing over my fathers wheelchair rushing him to get into the car, he did not allow us to take any photos with our bridal party on the grounds and told our guests that they needed to leave. This was in the outside area, with no other event happening that day and all we were asking for was 20 mins to say goodbye to our guests properly instead of being chased out. There were multiple other things that had gone wrong leading up to the day but our 40 or so guests that were pushed out by the security guard all left with a bad taste in their mouth and said they wouldn't consider the venue because of that experience. The beauty of the grounds simply isn't worth the stress here.

Fabulous place to have an event.. ambience makes you fall in love with.. Food music all was awesome.

Ascott Parc is a lovely venue. The garden was my favourite, very spacious. My experience of Jay was very positive. I found him to be very professional, personable and knowledgeable. He provided me with all of the necessary information required and was very detailed in making sure he covered all the aspects that was on my priority list. He was passionate about staying within my budget and allowed me time to decide. I highly recommend booking and meeting with Jay.

I found Ascott Parc at a bridal show back in late 2016. I booked my wedding 2 years in advance and got the last spot. The food was incredible, the braised beef ribs fell off the bone and for those with food allergies, the chefs are able to accommodate them. The gazebo outside was beautiful, there is a waterfall in the back and it is very breathtaking.

We had our sons communion at Ascott Parc April 30, 2022. The food was excellent! The staff was also amazing, they went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly.

We were one of the lucky couples trying to get married during the pandemic and we had chosen to have our reception at Ascott before the pandemic hit. Luckily for us, they were so accommodating and supportive in our decision to postpone. We worked with Ash, who was responsive to all of our requests and helped us plan through our party within the government restrictions and in a way that could accommodate everyone. He was very easy to work with and when we finally got to host the event, it was perfect! The grounds there were perfect for photos before the party. We had the Imperial Hall and the outdoor space on the Terrace was awesome and really added so much usable space. We highly recommend the Ascott if you’re looking for a seamless wedding event in a beautiful venue!
