The Venetian

There are many words we can use to describe our wedding experience with the Venetian, but none will truly exemplify our gratitude and appreciation for their incredible service and hospitality; we will definitely do our best to provide insightful and genuine information that best represents our experience together. We joyously married on February 29, 2020 alongside our beloved family and friends at the Venetian, where we celebrated in their newly renovated space best described as modern meets classic prestige. Our wedding reserved Hall A & B for our 120+ guests and this space was more than sufficient to accommodate our ceremony and reception comfortably. The set-up maximized the space wonderfully for our ceremony - a stage riser with our floral displays and a high-top cocktail table for our officiant. The chairs were set-up beautifully in a chevron style and the overall view was perfect. For our reception, we had round tables with our preference of 10 chairs per table, a dedicated area for the DJ and MC, and our sweetheart table. There was a dedicated round table for our custom ice sculpture, and a round table for our dedicated sweets table. The flow of the ceremony and reception worked really well for us and we were extremely satisfied with the whole set-up. There is a lot to be said about the highly specialized and dedicated individuals that are a part of the Venetian family; they create an extraordinary experience for everyone that has an opportunity to experience the Venetian first hand. The intricate and detailed planning and execution is phenomenal - from the table cover linens, napkins, chairs, table displays and complete ambiance, to the planning, venue tours, complete and insightful communication and correspondence, menu selections, time management and so much more, they have it down to a science. Our food and beverage menu selection was a combination of versatile and exquisite culinary offerings, was plentiful, flavourful and enjoyed by all guests. They accommodated our advance requests for our guests with specific dietary needs, and provided alternate options best suited for each person; we provided these details in advance for best preparedness. We enjoyed the extensive menu offerings throughout the whole day from the cocktail hour, to the exceptional seafood antipasto station, to our deluxe plated soups, salads, entrees and desserts, and finally the late night stations which was similar to a third dinner - fruit, pastry, waffle, coffee, sliders, fries, poutine, and everything in between stations. Plus a premium bar, which has everything you need and more. Our stomachs and hearts were full to say the least and we are grateful for the extended love, care, and commitment from the Venetian family. We are truly blessed and overjoyed to enjoy all the moments and memories with our family and friends, having spent our biggest and best moment together so far from our wedding day. We wish to extend our considerable and immense gratitude to everyone at the Venetian that made our wedding experience incredibly unique and memorable. The amazing staff and exceptional service make for a great experience at the Venetian and we truly value and appreciate all of the efforts provided by everyone involved. As the owner of a busy event planning company we host many of our events at The Venetian. Their staff & team are always professional, always great food and service. We really enjoy hosting our events at The Venetian on Vaughn.

Hosted my daughter’s quinceañera. Everything turned out wonderful. From beginning to end it was a great experience. Also wanted to recommend Fernando the DJ that was recommended to us. He was great to work with and definitely helped to make a memorable night.

We booked our wedding, bridal shower and stag at the Venetian, and truly couldn't be happier with all of our wedding events. Joe and John were beyond amazing to deal with to ensure all our wedding events were nothing short of perfection. We cannot thank you for everything! The wait staff and service staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly and was on time. We never had any issues at any of our events. Everyone we dealt with at the Venetian was professional, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. The food was always top notch - anyone we talked to after all of our events raved about the food! We truly couldn't have been happier with the food and service. Fantastic place to hold any sort of party. The decor is stunning and the staff are great. Food is to die for.

I had my wedding here Feb-21-20, the staff were great on day of the two servers assigned to the head table went above and beyond! Always asking if I needed anything and even offered to package food for us to take home. Talia was very good with helping arrange and plan everything for the day of.

Our wedding at The Venetian was more magical that I could have ever anticipated. From the moment we met with Patrizia we knew we were in good hands and she quickly made us feel part of The Venetian family. I did have a few meltdowns as covid progressed making it hard to plan and to know what the future would hold but Patrizia was always there to comfort and encourage me. We moved our date up last minuet from November to September 2021 giving us 1 month to plan everything! All of the Venetian staff were incredible to work with. From the larger components like design, the DJ, the cake, down to the smallest details, Patrizia helped me coordinate and get the best people for our day. I could never have asked for a better venue or team. All of my guests were coming up to me to comment about how good the food was, which was really important to us and the bartender was amazing!!! We had both our ceremony and reception at The Venetian and took all of our photos on the Venetians grounds. They were so beautiful because of the architecture and interior design, it has such a royal feel. I highly recommend The Venetian and if you are lucky enough to work with Patrizia and her team just know you are in the best hands.

As one of the many couples who had their wedding heavily impacted due to COVID-19, I couldn’t imagine a better venue vendor than The Venetian to have been a partner through all of this. We initially booked our contract with them in 2019 for a 2021 wedding and while we were doing the back and forth negotiations with other venues, Patrizia at The Venetian cut right through all of the noise and constructed the perfect contract for us during out initial meeting. We had the menu we wanted (surf n’ turf with four courses and late night stations) with the flexibility to bring the people we needed to bring even though our numbers weren’t fully confirmed yet. During the pandemic when things were in complete flux, the venue assured us that we would be pushed out to a date that was safe for us to have our guests present. Of course, on the day of the venue was absolutely fantastic and our guests complimented us on the space, the open deluxe bar, and most importantly the food. Would absolutely recommend them for any event!
