I bought some Vinylbilt windows 17 years ago. They had a lifetime warranty. Recently, one of the window pane seals failed and I had to replace this window pane. I was advised by customer service that the company had changed ownership and that the new owners bought the company but not the warranty liabilities. My window replacement was therefore not covered by my lifetime warranty. I had to pay for the repair. They did a very good job on installing the new window pane.

First off, I am not the type of person who looks to complain about the most insignificant deficiencies or even post reviews for that matter. HOWEVER, our experience with windows manufactured by this company has been completely awful. We decided to have all the windows replaced in our home this past year. Our installer (who has been amazing throughout the process) recommended we go with Enerview windows, which I understand is owned by Vinylbilt Windows and Doors. First off, 12 (!!!) of the newly installed glass panels had to be replaced because there were scratches and blemishes all over them. Apparently quality control is non-existent with this company. The replacements were just installed. Once the weather warms up a bit so that I can give them a thorough cleaning, I will provide an update on whether there are scratches on the replacements. Second off, they manufactured one of our windows not based on the measurements provided by the installer (transom was probably twice the size of the original window!). So a replacement was ordered. You would think they would have got it right the 2nd time....... NOPE. Not only did they get the measurements wrong again, but the craftsmanship was completely brutal. It has been a terrible experience overall, and we are tired of having to constantly vent our frustrations to our installer who is not at fault for any of this. We are sick of hearing that it's due to COVID-19 and staff shortages. Quality control should always be the priority with manufacturers of products this expensive, not simply rushing production to line their wallets. With it being a pandemic, having young children and a spouse who is a front line worker, we have bent over backwards to allocate time for installers to come into our home and correct these deficiencies. And yet, the job is still not done. This company should be embarrassed and ashamed of themself. I am sure we will get a generic, canned response to this post for us to call you which is just going to infuriate us more. You know who we are and you know who our installer is. You can contact us.

Vinylbilt Windows honored their lifetime warranty. Defective windows were replaced quickly. Installer/Technician (Jonathan) was efficient, personable and a credit to your company.

Solensis Windows I was trying to get hold of Solensis window’s support to ask a question on casing. I was re-directed to VinylBilt windows in Concord, Ontario. I was told by Srinivas Yarlagadda that the pic I sent him were not Solensis windows. Interesting, why would I send it then? I asked for a manager and Joe Ciddio got back to me. He sent me a reply stating he would look into it and got back to me with the same answer, these are not Solensis windows. Probably asked Srinivas. My question to Solensis and VinylBilt is, you sell Solensis windows and don’t even know what they look like? I went back to Home Depot and the manager said they have had all kinds of problems with Solensis and Home Depot has since Stopped selling Solensis windows. Not great for me but good for others that are purchasing here forward.

A couple of weeks ago after shutting a window & locking it, I heard the lock leaver pop. I was really surprised because I was not rushing, I did not use any force at all to close it, the temperature was not freezing & the window was only approximately 4 years old. As the leaver had no way for me to take it off as there were no visible entry points into the mechanism, it seemed like something broke inside the mechanism resulting in the window being locked in the shut position (thankfully) until fixed professionally. After contacting Fasada in Oakville who I purchased the VinylBilt windows from, the process was fairly painless. They provided the information to VInylbilt who contacted me fairly quickly & very professionally explained the process of setting up an appointment for a service tech to come to my house. They did explain that there was a service charge even though it was a fairly new window. That was the only disappointing part & why I wouldn't say this was a 5 star situation. I don't like the fact that I had to pay to get something fixed that should not have broken, but if I ever wanted to open that window again, I had no choice. Jonathan from Vinylbilt Windows was great. He was professional, quick, fixed the lock, explained why it broke (something was too tight in another part of the window fitting so he had to replace a couple of other pieces that help open the window).

Vinylbilt Windows and Doors came to my house to perform warranty service for one of the windows that I had installed in the fall of 2021. Everyone who I dealt with from this company- Kyle, Rebbecca and Jonathan, was professional and courteous. One of the traits that I look for in a company is simply whether they do what they said they will do. And that's exactly what these three people mentioned in this review did. So thank you for doing the job you said you would! I would also specifically commend Jonathan who performed the service at my house. He is highly skilled, and clearly very experienced working with windows. His customer service was exceptional and he performed the work quietly and efficiently. I am extremely pleased with the work he performed. The view out my window is now fantastic!

Hello, I had excellent service at Vinylbilt. They were great in my initial interaction with the customer service. The technician that came for the initial inspection was on time and well covered the scope of work. The manufacturing required was done promptly and I was contacted when the parts were ready to be installed. the technician that came home was also on time and did his work very professionally. I am very happy with the service and would not hesitate to recommend Vinylbilt windows and doors. Jacques, Oakville

Our doors and windows have worked consistently well since they were installed 10 years ago. Unfortunately, the locking mechanism for our patio door recently broke, but a replacement part was carefully and correctly ordered (thank you Camila Rosa!!!), delivered, and easily installed by ourselves. There was immediate follow-up to ensure that everything was now in working order. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this company for installation and commitment to their product!
