β β β β β The turo-turo style is good as there are lots of different dishes to choose from.
I like the bulalo and pinakbet dishes.
For dessert, the turon is crispy.
However,
The asado siopao needs improvement as the meat content is in small amount for a big bun and the taste is lacking in flavour.
I appreciate the friendliness and hospitality of this family run business.
I'll be back to try the other turo-turo dishes.

β β β β β Hands down the best Filipino restaurant in Edmonton. Other places have a very "factory" type taste to their dishes as they're mass produced from chains. Kusina Filipino brings you food that is not only delicious, but generations old recipes founded in love, passed down by the owner's mother. This take-out only venue is the friendliest family owned spot that places quality ingredients as a priority and you can *taste* how fresh and "clean" the dishes are. For example, at other local Filipino shops/restaurants the Dinuguan (pork blood stew) has almost a "muddy" taste, whereas Kusina Filipino's Dinuguan tastes smooth without the "earthy" taste - which speaks volumes on how good this restaurant is. Honestly, stop wasting your time reading this review and get your behind over to Kusina Filipino!

If itβs your first time they will also give you a deep fried Turon!!! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful with choosing what dishes to suit you.
