This is a little gem of a place tucked away just a block off the main street. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is cosy and decorated with personality. Most importantly, the food is delicious! The ingredients are super fresh, and everything we tried was great. Great value for your money. Highly recommend.

The combination number 4 consisted of chicken fried rice, sweet chicken rolls, green pepper beef and egg roll. The chicken rolls contained a lot of flour and small piece of chicken inside. The beef and fried rice was tasty. The meal was filling. Very clean and quiet family run restaurant. The waiters are super friendly.

One of my favourite restaurants in Renfrew! All of their dishes are well made and done so with love. My go-tos are their noodle dishes; Shanghai Noodles, Pad Thai, or the Singapore noodles. Their wonton soup with noodles is always a staple along with their black bean broccoli. You'll always be served with a smile and the quality is always amazing!

Wonderful taste and quality! Large portion provided another meal the next day. Had combo for one, and pad thai with shrimp & chicken.

At first I was disappointed that the portion of salty spicy shrimp seemed so small. It was excellent though. The shrimp were delicious and not overcooked and the portion turned out to be sufficient for me to be sated. The chef had a deft hand and I will be back. Very personable. My 2nd visit was a stunning disappointment. I was quite hungry so I didn't order the shrimp because the portion is small. I ordered combo 10 and after picking the 4 bites of chicken out of the chow mein had to turf the rest. I will try to explore the menu further because I know this chef is capable. I just hope he isn't a one trick pony.

We figured we’d give this place a go with the great rating. Before we even opened our bag we knew we would not be returning. It was very expensive. When we did open the bag the portions were only half sized. So 50% less for 40% more. When we opened up what we ordered we didn’t know what the hell we got.

While travelling on business I found myself passing through Renfrew at the dinner hour and craving Chinese. So, I googled and found this restaurant that had good ratings, and the menu looked interesting. I am giving this establishment five stars and will outline the reasons. First, it is rather difficult to find, and parking is not easy to find on the street. If you ask the server at the front desk, they will tell you where you can park other than the street if it is full. [Things have certainly changed since I visited Renfrew back in the 70s as a teen with my father as being towed was not a concern, but today there are no parking signs everywhere with warnings of being towed!] The outside of the building does not look like much, but I am dining inside not outside. The interior is clean and neat. The table and chairs were clean and inviting. It was also very quiet which was nice since I wanted to relax after a busy day and being on the road for 10hrs at that point. The server had a super friendly Ottawa Valley personality, and was fantastic at keeping my water filled without having to ask. This makes a huge impact when I give these ratings. I had the daily special of won ton soup, spring roll, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour pork, and chicken fried rice. Comparing it to other Chinese style establishments I have visited, including those in Ottawa and GTA, I would rate it as above normal. The food was fresh, tasty, and steaming hot (I absolutely hate lukewarm food.). The courses were served with just the right timing for me to leisurely enjoy each. At the end I received a fortune cookie and picked up a mint at the cash when I paid. An overall excellent experience, and just what I was looking for when feeling very hungry and worn out from the day. I left relaxed and renewed (my blood sugar was dipping) for the 2hr drive home. Glad I visited this restaurant, and will now make it a point to visit again in the future when I find myself in the Renfrew area.

We were skiing at calabogi and we wanted something to eat. Restaurant had good reviews so we called in and order i got Pad Thai noodles - this was nothing like Pad Thai it was normal pasta from Walmart with two shrimps and carrots (see picture) my son got pad Thai rice with chicken (he could find only 2 pieces of chicken which was the size of a bean). My other son had #6 and basically it was rice with some brown sauce 4 chicken balls. My daughter got #4 and it was almost the same as #6. Rice with Brown sauce. Food was really bland and I would say it was the worst Chinese food we ever had. I got to say we are not very picky people. Basically we paid $66 + tip for some rice and Walmart pasta … never go back.
