★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1st experience really wasn't great but the food was good so we tried again. Restaurant did pull through and we got the missing items on our 2nd order. Standing at order # 3rd order, we called in early 16h45 to get ahead of the diner rush, we're told 45-60 mins maybe faster. After 90 mins, we called the restaurant to inquire. They know the delivery person left but not when. No offer to call the driver and find out. 110 mins to get the order, driver apologizes, someone didn't come in.
Business can't be bothered to call us to say there might be a delay, someone didn't show up. Other reviews mentioned the staff is rude. I wouldn't say that, it just seems like they dont care and no one above them seems to either. Call in to complain as per the delivery person. I ask for a manager, someone feeling bad says i'll get you the employee that's "like a manager". I wait on hold for someone who' "just been there longer" and is not the manager. They just don't care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The portions were decent but the food was mediocre at best. The woman who took our order by phone was quite rude. They got some items in the order wrong … and we found a hair in one of the dishes. The spring rolls also tasted off… the meat they used in them tasted funky. Not edible. Would not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was OK for the price. the problem is the cleanliness, the water had his thumb in the bowl of rice, he would clean the tables next to us without rinsing the rag. The dining area is filled with boxes of dishes and boxes of fried noodles tha he serves with his jands and not utensils.
We are a couple who enjoys eating out especially BYOB restaurants. we will not be returning, it is such a shame because it has alot of potential.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The way I’m reviewing is based on my experience at other restaurants and comparing them accordingly. This is a good restaurant not the best but very good and quality food/portion size I can’t give it 5star because obviously there’s s better downtown Mtl but for a local place and not having to drive 1hr back and forth to pick up some good Chinese food it’s well worth the money. I read some bad reviews and they were a bit harsh. I understand what they’re saying but it’s honestly one of the better places in the surrounding area. Egg rolls were perfect, general Tao was good, chicken fried rice can use some more zip to it maybe some green onions and some salt, also I like to take the general Tao sauce on the side because less soggy when u get it ;) and as for the Shanghai noodles great taste But I understand that there might be a granular sensation due to the spices they add which makes sense but what I might suggest is maybe try to dissolve the spices before hand so when you add it it doesn’t have that granular feel in your mouth. Honestly it tasted very good and you can tell the quality of the product is there just some fine tuning is needed overall great restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been to many Chinese restaurants in Mtl and Laval. This was such a disappointment!! Nothing tasted fresh. The fried rice tasted like just white rice and soy sauce. Ribs were hard, general Tao was not flavourful. I gave this place 2 chances and both times was a flop.
I don’t recommend unfortunately. You need to match Kam Shing’s recipes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time ordering takeout from this restaurant. They are quick and the pickup was efficient. They are following all the protocols so very safe.
Food was fine. Not the greatest Chinese food but a good fix when you are in the mood. Will order again to give them a second try!!
