★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After meeting with several contractors, I decided to go with Kuby Renewable Energy based on their fair, straightforward and friendly approach to not only securing business, but also to educating people about the potential of solar power. Jake was my initial point of contact and I was impressed with his passion and knowledge. He answered my numerous questions in a patient and detailed manner. Once I decided to go with Kuby, the actual work was turned over to Rob, a Project Manager. The installation took 3 full days and all installers on site were professional, engaging, hardworking and respectful. The electrical work was done seamlessly and passed final inspection with no issues. The install of the 32 panels looks amazing and was customized specifically to my home's roof shape and dimensions. Just waiting for Fortis to hook up a bi-directional meter and then we are off to the races generating our own electricity. Besides the install, I worked with Ben at Kuby to ensure all the proper paperwork was completed in a timely and accurate fashion. Everything was done on time and on budget (based on the initial quote). As a result, I would unequivocally recommend Kuby Renewable Energy if you are considering solar power for your home or business. They promised a true turn key solution and have delivered in spades. Thank you to Jake, Rob, Ben, Dave, Jason and all others involved at Kuby for making our first foray into the world of solar power such a positive experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A strong reputation in the EV/solar community led me to Kuby. After comparing multiple options, chose Kuby based on product, price, and knowledge.
They did start work a few weeks later than scheduled (Christmas and weather played a factor), but were done quick (3 days). That included shoveling significant snow off the roof and ensuring the snow did not impede driveway or walkway.
They took great care in working around our 2 cats - ensuring the cats did not 'get out' or go where they shouldn't.
They got the inspection handled very quick, and everything was official less than a week after they started work.
It has only been a short time, so can't speak to longevity of their work yet.
The only advice I have for would be solar customers: shop around (obviously), and understand about clipping. Kuby did explain it during the proposal phase, but with lots of info flying around, it wasn't entirely understood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kuby has been great to work with. The workmanship appears to be of excellent quality. Their staff were polite and professional during the installation process. What I really appreciated about Kuby and their management was a month after they were paid in full, when I had trouble with Fortis getting the microgen agreement recognized, Kuby was highly responsive and helpful in helping me resolve those difficulties so I could get hooked up to the grid. My experience with some contractors is they are responsive before getting paid, but once they have your money, they seem to have little time foir you if you encounter difficulties related to their work later on. Gratefully for me, as I was not making much progress with Fortis on my own, when I let Kuby know I was having trouble with Fortis connecting me to the grid they really went out of their way to reach out to Fortis and help me. For this they deserve 5 stars and a strong recommendation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our decision to purchase a Tesla Powerwall through Kuby Renewable Energy was a a great choice! Although there was a considerable delay from order to delivery, due to no fault of Kuby, they maintained effective communication to provide updates. When our unit was brought out for installation and commissioning, two experienced Electricians, Simon and Paul took great care in their work. They arrived on time, completed their work as estimated, were courteous, and on departure, left our home as they would a clean worksite! I am impressed with the quality of work and care demonstrated throughout this project and without hesitation recommend Kuby Renewable Energy Ltd!

I am very pleased with the quality of work, their communication with the client and the overall experience. I would highly recommend using Kuby if you are considering getting solar installed.
