★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The experience I had at Glenora Lumber today was horrible. The salesman I dealt with was incredibly rude and dismissive. I do not know how they plan to do business in this manner, but I will not return and would not recommend the supplier to anyone. They have no concept of customer service.

Called ahead to see if they had a specific joist hanger that I needed. Said they had it in stock. Showed up, said no, they would need to check their suppliers.
Then waited for 15 minutes, and asked if I should start calling around myself to see if I can find it in stock in town. Guys said "sure, wouldn't hurt". I do, and find the part on my own at a competitors.
I will never set foot in there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a finishing Carpenter and have used Glenora Lumber since the 90s. They specialize in finishing materials and will not disappoint if that's what you're after. Get your prehanged doors here, leave Home Despotic for the occasional piece of trim you may need, the prehangs are machined properly by guys that know what they're doing and the price per unit is lower than the big box stores with higher quality.
