HomeEd is a non-profit organization that provides affordable apartments and townhouses for rent throughout Edmonton.
About HomeEd
Real estate development and infrastructure projects have taken Jonathan across western Canada and around the world. In 15 years working as a consulting engineer, senior development manager, and vice president for various firms, Jonathan has completed more than $150 million in real estate transactions, including more than $100 million in earned development revenue. In 2019, he was named one of Edmonton’s “Top 40 Under 40” by Avenue Magazine, and is a past board member of the Alberta Chapter of the Canada Green Building Council.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company is rude on the phone and their Customer Service reps hang up on you so they can avoid having any sort of conversation. It's no surprise at this point why they average 2.2 stars in their ratings. If they're willing to be like this with someone I can only imagine what they're like when you have an actual problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s been a pleasure staying at HomeEd Primrose Place for the past six years. The resident manager Veronica Colomeet is a wonderful team player. She takes her job seriously. For any maintenance that required attention, she was on top of the game. HomeEd is a private housing company who’s rent is based on ur monthly income. As a single mum with three kids i had a wonderful time staying with home Ed . It’s quite neighborhood and safe . Veronica colomeet the portfolio manager is great . Never had issues with her and she has great knowledge of things . She’s very helpful person . Thank you ???. I would recommend home Ed to anyone who needs a place to rent .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst place no Security or gate drug attic’s and homeless people constantly around and living in the Parkade area people leave human waste and pee in door area no clean up in weeks happening daily too 900 in car damage of windows and theft .laundry washer’s breaking Circuit breaker over 9 days now still not working both washers too lol Happening at least every couple months. Smashed in front door of building Christmas Day morning all glass shattered too

Contrary to some comments that I could read in google reviews, I would say that I received formidable attention. My leasing specialist was very proactive, precise, and efficient during the process (Jasmin Merina). I am pleased with the property (which is located in Mill Woods) and also with the gentle attention of the administrative support (Jennifer Claeys).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The maintenance guy did an awesome job; but unfortunately I had to call twice (with in 2 weeks), for the booking, because nobody returned my call the first time. Company needs better communication. I don't care that it took a while to get work done (no emergency), but its nice to know what's going on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have rented with HomeEd for the last year and have only had good experiences interacting with the staff! It was easy to apply and they allowed me to move in early to accommodate my schedule.
My dryer stopped working and was replaced the next day! My fridge was having issues a few months later, and again it was resolved very quickly.
Maintenance and contractors that have come to my home have all been very polite and complete their work in a clean and professional manner.
My family and I really enjoy our home and the community we live in.
