Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We are thrilled with the savings on our electricity bill, not to mention how slick the panels look on our garage. I was impressed with the thorough manner in suggesting options, in estimates for those options, and in the work itself when it came to installation. Their advice and information was what I needed to decide on what configuration best met my needs and at the same time was good environmentally. I also appreciate the followup and the willingness to make changes and improvements should circumstances change. The attitude of all the GCS folks was respectful, friendly, and professional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say that six months after installation, I’m delighted with my solar system, installed by Great Canadian Solar. From day 1, the Company was knowledgeable and professional and went into great detail to answer all the questions I had on the installation, equipment, warranties and expected results. So far, the system has worked both seamlessly and flawlessly and I really enjoy the details and graphs provided by the associated software. In most months, production has exceeded the expectations and projections initially provided by the Company but only a year or two of operation will confirm this of course.
In conjunction with my geothermal heating and cooling system, I expect that this nominal 6kW system will permit me to be net electrically neutral for 8 months of the year. It’s an expense well worth the up-front costs in a new home, particularly with the current rebates available. In my case, I estimate that the combined geothermal and solar system cost me less than 5% of the present value of the home and this should easily be recouped when the house is sold. More importantly, it’s the right thing do.

From the several revisions of the quote Andrew did to find the perfect fit for us which included a lot of technical detail, our installer Matt communicating with us regularly and being thoughtful about not waking our newborn and finishing up with a detailed and well prepared documentation package. We would highly recommend them to anyone interested in taking advantage of the great current rebates to get a solar system!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Canadian Solar just installed a 5Kwh system on our roof. Based on my research, this company provides the best price. They are very responsive and flexible to the needs of the customer. We have yet to see how the system performs but we're expecting to have enough energy production in the sunny months to cover our needs in the darker months.
