★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful campground with paved roads. Took two stars off because we couldn’t get the WiFi to work on any of our devices and another because we were told the firewood was free, but when we sent the kids to get some there wasn’t any there. Maybe someone else took it all, but we didn’t get any. Although they don’t have any fire pits to burn it in. Overall we had a nice quiet night and our kids were able to ride around on the paved roads.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am Gixsan. This is my first trip to ksan campgrounds, beside a river. Close to other great tourists destinations like totem poles in kitwanga or Kispiox. Looking at the seven sisters, visiting the ksan village. They offer full hookups, no hookups and tent. Office has some snacks, coffee, laundry soap and fabric softener.
They also have a bathroom with toilet paper. Showers and laundry are coin operated. Everything runs off loonies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favorite place to sit and relax. Great for walking as there is lots of scenery. Would suggest to make sure you always have somebody with you, or something noisy to scare off any wild life you may see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing campground with backdrop of majestic mountains by the river! Electic/water hook ups and wifi. Must visit ksan historic village with history of 8000 years. Owner was very friendly and helpful

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not as good as other reviews indicated. Perhaps end of season blues. Didn't open on time, garbage needed collecting, washrooms needed cleaning and out of toilet paper. Good bones but lack of attention.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I were in mid June 2021 and loved this place. The region around New Hazelton is the traditional lands of Gitksan and
Wet'suwet'en. The Ksan Campground is managed and operated by the Gitanmaax Band and is nestled between the Bulkley River and the stunning Roche De Boule Mountain Range.
The park is a beautiful RV camping spot with all the amenities, super clean, spacious and friendly staff. Located near the Historical Pioneer Village of Hazelton and directly beside the Ksan Historic Museum and Village. Walking distance to old Hazelton.
Will stay longer next time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breathtaking. Words cannot describe this place - and photos do not do justice to the beauty of the Hazelton Mountains in the background. My husband and I arrived after office hours, but were able to pull up to a large, well-groomed site right by the Skeena River to set up our tent. The owner was very friendly and helpful despite us having not booked a site in advance, and though it drizzled a few times throughout our stay, we had a perfect experience here.
The grounds are within a 5-10 minute walk to the historic town of Hazelton, where signs for a self-guided walking tour help take you through the area. Due to COVID, the 'Ksan Historical Village was not open to tours - but we were still able to wander the grounds.
We will be coming back as soon as we can. This was probably the best campsite we've ever been to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this site 33 years ago while touring British Columbia in our hired motorhome from Calgary.
Stopped on this site for 3days on our route from Jasper to Prince Rupert and down the inside passage to Vancouver Island. We thought it was fantastic and possibly at the time the nicest site we had visited on our months vacation from England
