Oct 26/17 I took my summer driven Cobalt SS to them to get sprayed. I was against winter driving it but figured if it was protected and I needed it as a daily it would be fine. I got the car home and noticed scratches on the driver door sill but nothing deep looked like wipe marks. The passenger side had pigtail metal shavings deep in the Krown around my door sill rubber. The door sill rubber also had linear scratch marks from the metal shavings in the rag they used. I picked it out as best as I could used my garden hose to wash away any debris and cleaned up the area. I wasn't too pleased but calmed down and thought about it. Next summer I was going to give the car a good clay bar and I was working on the hood and I noticed all kinds of lines in the clear coat when the sun hit it (these are clear wipe marks not swirls). The car is black so in the winter it's always dirty very hard to see imperfections until you do a good clean. Also random lines on the body like someone was wiping with a contaminated rag. I know the car like the back of my hand and I see it everyday and since the day I bought it there where none of those marks. It had random small marks at the door handles but only clear coat. I wrote to Krown May 30/18 to let them know what I found and what we could do. Jeremy Young wrote me back and I told him i'd go talk to Wayne personally since he said he was reasonable and would figure it out. After that imo I basically got the runaround. I talked to Wayne the first time to show him and he agreed to do something because it was possible that one of his employees scratched the sills (the hood and such he didn't seem to agree to). He said his buddy was moving his paint shop and he'd let me know. I went back a week later and he wasn't there so I talked to one of his guys. I showed him the damage and he looked somewhat shocked. Sure enough he pulls out a rag and starts wiping at my door sills and I literally saw him put a swirl mark into my clear coat!. You should never wipe a dirty door sill ever you might as well sandblast it!. I didn't even say a word because what I was thinking was not good. Wayne showed up during that and told me he hadn't forgotten about me. I said ok and was just happy to hear that something would be done. So I think another month or 2 went by and no follow up. I wrote my first e-mail (August) and same thing again about moving shops and he'd find another expert. I think another month went by then my second e-mail (September) he finally told me to go see Tony. I was thinking who the hell is Tony but I met with him anyways. He said he had 40 years experience which is all great but I don't see a body shop anywhere it was just a guy at a house lol. I work as a painter and know what it takes to repaint a door sill and for me to take it to some guy that I know nothing about is ridiculous imo. I would have expected to be sent to a pro body shop or at least a professional detailer to get these deep and fine scratches polished out if even possible in some areas. Either way Tony and I talked and we both came to the decision that a repaint is too much for the area. The rubber needs to be removed properly and spray clear blend it's all a lot of work and I can't be guaranteed quality so I said forget about it. I would recommend against getting your car drilled at Krown and only let them use current access holes. Most new cars do have access holes from the factory now. I noticed even the wash procedure is incorrect at the Guelph location. You should wash the car first before using the soap and brush all over it. Again I do think the product is really good there are no issue there imo. I would have never had to write this review if things had been done correctly in the first place or at least handled properly. If I owned the shop this would have never happened. I am a car guy and always will be and detail is priority. If one of my guys was foolish enough to destroy paintwork I would make him pay for the repair and if he didn't smarten up he'd be finding a new job. Simple. Have a good one guys.

I've been going to this Krown location with 2 my cars Pontiac Montana 2008 @ Chevrolet Cruze 2015 and thankfully have not had any issues with rust. This location is very friendly. I highly recommend Krown

I would highly recommend Known in Cambridge. Staff very nice and they worked me in as I was early and from out of town, while maintaining Covid protocols. Car we cleaned after sprayed, they took care to get all areas treated. Will return there with my Trans AM in the spring.

Very friendly and welcoming environment and no issues with the spray. It was my first time ever having a car sprayed and they made me feel like I was a long-time client with how kind they were.
