Krazy Binz - Edmonton - Edmonton

2.7/5 β˜… based on 8 reviews

It’s to make things a little more fun and interesting! A more expensive item is set on the side and an egg with a paper inside is hidden in the binz (not in items or boxes).

The lucky customer that finds the egg will get the corresponding item for the price of the day- if they wish to get the item.

I feel like the staff there are beyond rude it was our first time there and we didn’t realize that we were not supposed to open boxes as the signs are high up in the air at the back of the store not visible when you walk in and the place is a mess with boxes ripped open everywhere so we open one box thinking that’s what we’re supposed to do had an employee walk up in the first thing he said β€œwas if you do that again I’m going to kick you out I was like OK I have never been here before I thought you can open boxes”? He begins to say β€œ we just made an announcement over the intercom about opening boxes I have been walking around kicking people out for β€œas I didn’t hear as I had just walked through the door about 10 seconds before then he says there’s signs everywhere and pointed at the two signs at the back of a huge warehouse that we could not see we told him OK sorry maybe you should make the signs a little bit more clear or even have a sign on the door because it is not clear that you cannot open the door the boxes the place had trash all over the place very dirty and I really believe that they should get better signage! Their employees need customer service training.

Surprised to find that they have moved here now! Right beside TGP Wholesale Market :) A lot of deals, if you're savvy. Different days have different prices, so watch what you take to the tills. Huge area and tons of Krazy Bins lol.

What most customers miss on the point of Krazy Bins is the ambiguous nature of the concept. Yes, you can’t open product, hence why it is emphasized that there are employees on floor to help assist you with your product. This is further emphasized as all sales are final, this will most likely be mentioned while in the store and before you purchase your items. Also clearly indicated on your receipt. Signs are set all around the store. Also, bulk is separate from the bins, as to why they are held SEPARATELY from the bin product. Truly, the concept is wonderful and still has lots of space to grow, and honestly, a good portion of customers limit the chances of this company of expanding because they can’t abuse its system.

A store for the adventuresome person, with excellent bargains. Yes you will rumage through lots of seemingly useless articles and discover the few that are your treasure. Many times I have picked up a $50 item for $3. Go and enjoy your search as most people leave with a bag full of bargains.

I feel this place was a bit over hyped. Maybe it's better if you are there when they open...I don't know. There is ALOT of junk for sure. Cell phone cases for phones that don't exist, old computer pieces etc. You feel rushed too..they yelled out 10 minutes left and I hadn't even gone through half the store. None of the staff talks to you either. Also you have to be careful and know how much things are normally. For example a container of spices...today would be $10. I know I can get it cheaper than that. But however a 30ct pack of.kcups for $10 when it's normally $20 is a good deal. Go early and watch what you buy is my advice.

Very cool concept. I wish I had seen it earlier in the day. It was pretty well picked over by the time I rolled through but I love the whole idea of it. I don't live here and there isn't really anything similar where I do live but next time I'm up, I'll try and come earlier to get the full experience

Was very excited to finally get off of work early and go dig through some bins. On the door was a sign saying β€œbulk week” and that the price was $70 - I hesitated and looked around and there were items around the edge of the store that were higher value items with paper stuck to them saying they were $70 - which made sense! It was air purifiers, furniture and mini fridges! I overheard someone ask about it and the staff member said that the β€œhigh value” items were $70. So I assumed that the centre bins where the lower valued items were was the usual $25 (it was a Friday). I was greatly mistaken. EVERYTHING was $70 each. The $35 on Amazon plush? $70. The foam seat cushion that was $40 from Amazon? $70. For a company that is literally selling Amazon returns I expect to pay less than what Amazon is selling it for new and unopened.

I have found some amazing finds, a few missing pieces to products but a quick search the next day usually rectifies that issue. Most of the Staff there are so helpful except for one young lady that seems hell bent on not helping me and is out right rude, whether she's in the testing area or on cash like yesterday she is just not nice at all. Everyone else so far has be been delightful, kind and helpful and just as excited to open boxes and find amazing things as we are.
