They helped me with my questions and even allowed me to send photos of seamstress's shears prior to coming down to confirm that they were able to sharpen them. All my knives cut exceptionally well now! Their knife sharpening service was quick and highly professional. I highly recommend their exceptional team.

Adam will help you with there classes on how to use the knives properly as he is actually a top chef!!! The other items in the store bring the incredible Japanese culture into your home to boot!

If you are into Japanese blacksmiths and the product they create - you know it ain’t cheap. This is where you want to spend your money because if something goes wrong they will take care of you - even if you just think something is wrong. ;) If you don’t know anything about Japanese blades and the different between stainless steel and carbon steel, or the different styles of blades, go hang out here for a bit, then buy yourself a Good Santoku to start your collection. I've got great service there everytime - last fall when I bought a Aeropress coffee maker and about a year ago when I bought a knife for parting chickens. You guys are great!

Amazing service, amazing selection, knowledgeable staff and overall great experience shopping for my collection of unique knives. I highly recommend this store for your needs. If you buy a knife you get a deal on a honing rod... Get the honing rod, it will help you keep the super sharp edge on your blade. The knowledgeable staff helped me pick out a nakiri knife. I have used this knife daily since I purchased it. They have lots of other kitchen gadgets and accessories. My favorite is the Knifewear food scoop, this thing is awesome. It scoops and carries a whole large onion easily. It is safer and easier than using the side of your knife or most other methods.
