It is clear they treat sub-contractors with little respect including not paying them. High Employee turnover is a clear red flag. The project looks great overall, but is hidden with poor quality. There has been one thing breaking after the other. They may work better for residential projects; but for high-use commercial, I highly do not recommend hiring Klondike.

After we moved in, we found a few issues that were caused by oversights of the subtrades that did the work. When we reported the issues to Klondike, they were very responsive (even after 2 years) and they tracked down the subtrades and have them rectify the issues at no cost to us. We have been very pleased with their after sale service!

Good ones stick around for many years and Klondike has been a good client. They have good projects with well designed scopes. They can problem solve well and have always been there threw the difficult parts of the build when things typically go wrong. Good at communication and problem solving. And a nice bottle of gin at Christmas time as appreciation is just the cherry on top.

Last year Klondike also built our new commercial office, earning our clients’ and colleagues’ compliments. We highly recommend Klondike. In the dog eat dog world of construction and contracting, it’s nice to know that there is at least one ethical company out there.
